I do not feel that Americans are racist, any more than any other nationality. People of a country are fools if they do not protect their borders. All countries protect their borders, America is probably one of the most lenient countries when it comes to borders. I do not think I would dare be an illegal alien in Mexico. I have heard all about the federalies and am sure I would be treated a lot worse than an illegal alien in America. Illegal aliens are milking our system. I have a job, it sucks too, boo hoo. There are a lot of people who would not do my job. That does not give me a reason to break the law. If people think life is fair, I got news for them, I got that out of my head a long time ago. We are not saying that people can not pursue work in America, we are just saying that they should have to obey the law just like I have to. I have do do things the legal way. So should everybody else, I do not think the American people are wimps at all. We have just put our faith in the wrong people, and have been too generous. You can't fight with your hands tied behind your back. Racism flows from every color in the rainbow., and every country in the world. There is always going to be somebody at the bottom of the heap, and they are always going to be bitter, and there is always somebody who is going to stir them up. Unfortunately many people have learmed that in America, if you whine long enough and hard enough, you will get your way, even if you do not deserve it, which is unfortunate because there are many that deserve it and get nothing.
To answer your question. I am not hurt, I am ticked though. I guess you see I am not afraid to speak out, As far as the Americans not being willing to do the job, that is a bunch of hooey because I feel I am like everybody else in the world. If I have to pick tomatoes I will, but if I don't have to I wont. I don't think there is anybody out there picking tomatoes just so I do't have to.

It does not bother Americans to be called racist anymore because the majority of people in the US have been labeled as racists for decades. Go to any high school lunch room and you will see people hanging out with others that are similar in look, including race. While teens act this way, so do most adults. How many people do you really know that are not your same race? I bet that most of the people that you thought of are co-workers. While thats fine, people do tend to stick with "their own". You see entire neighborhoods made up of Latinos, Blacks, Whites, Eastern-European, Asian, etc. Does this make them racist? No. However, when a problem does arrise, people will automatically side with "their own". Look at people in the spotlight, especially politicians, and see how many have been labeled as racist. People are so quick now to stop an intellectual convesation by calling the other party a racist. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc. These so-called "Black Leaders" probably do not speak for 80% of Blacks, yet try to get a Black person to disagree with them publically and you'll see that person called an "Uncle Tom" or other nonsense. The vast majority of Americans are not racist, they're just too tired anymore to argue when they are labelled.

Yes I am bothered as an American to be called a racist. But for someone to make a generalization about the entire American population and to call them all racists, then what does that say about them? I dont think that Americans are afraid to speak out, maybe politicians in power relying on votes are afraid to speak out, but I think that the general population regularly exercises their right to free speech.

I don't fully understand all your questions. But obviously it does bother white people to be called racist. Or they wouldn't be all butt hurt about this question. By the way. Taxpayers only put in about 7-11 million into the care of illegals. Which is more than offset by the 8-10million in unclaimed money that illegals put into the system by paying those same taxes. As for American pride. Personally, I think before any redneck p.o.s. should even be allowed to call themselves American. They should have to serve in the military. Make them bastards earn their citizenship, then see what they say.

That's why their being call racists, is because their speaking out, so people on this forum are not wimps, they speak their minds, I think it would hurt anyones feelings to be called that especially if their not a racist. But is just seems they only call white Americans racists, when their are racists in every race.

Well, the ones who are throwing those names out, are nothing but idiots so why waste our time feeling bad by something those people say. I certainly know i'm not racist and if anyone says i am, it doesn't mean crap because it's someone i've never even met before. So no need to get my feelings hurt over a person like that.

You know, it made me upset the first couple of times, because I thought people were legitimately confused about my motives. Pretty soon it became clear that calling people who are against illegal immigration 'racist' was just a tactic people supporting illegal immigrants were using. They have so little actual argument on their side, that is about all they can say.

Now I don't even rise to it, although I may still answer the questions saying we are racist if I am sufficiently bored.

Americans don't have the monopoly on racism. What bothers me is that you think the U.S. is the only country that have racists living in it.
It bothers everyone to be called names whether they want to admit it or not.
I don't know what you're talking about jobs??
Are we numb to what??
And are we wimps? Have you seen our military lately?? Don't you watch the news and what they're doing to stop the advancement of terrorism???
You really need to educate yourself!!

I assume you are referring to the recent immigration issues. No, I don't think it's about racism. It's about the right to protect your sovereignty, borders, and the rule of law.

It is estimated that the U.S. taxpayers are fronting over 60 billion dollars a year to cover the expenses caused by the "illegal" immigrant presence. It is not right for anyone to get a free ride. It is not right for someone to cut in line to enter this country just because they are right there on the border.
