Have you ever been so in tune with your spirit and the Universe or God that you felt your body and emotions and mind were your intruments to help you gain enlightemnt... and in this moment you had an experience with a healthy amimal in the wild that you walked right up to and didn't even get up or become scared? While you just watched each other in total unity?

I have heard of this, anyone experience it?

I am a reiki master. I have had a wild deer in the forest come out to observe the energy when i had a group of trainees with me at Bloomington, Indiana. It was very special . the deer came right up into the clearing beside the road and stood looking at us from about 20 feet we did not move.

I am a spiritual person, I once came up to a wild animal up in the Yosemite mountains and could have simply reached my hand out to touch him. A wonderful elk I believe, or some sort of deer. But I decided not to, since I didnt want to startle him and ruin the moment. I also came across a snake at the NM dessert, but got away from it the second I saw it.

Bears have been close by to, only a few feet away.

However, I do not see how this relates to my spiritual well being. Wild animals are very dangerous and can percieve fear, not spiritual enlightment.

Therefore, if you are considering going out into the wild, keep away from them unless you run accross one unintentionally.

Child of God, any "healthy animal in the wild" that hasn't experienced the cruelty of humans will not have a natural fear of a human being, except for a mother and her young, or a hungry or aggressive predator.

As for a spiritual experience, I would define that as a "oneness with God", and I have been blessed with THAT experience many times.

It would happen as I would lie in bed at night, and empty myself of myself -- all of the day's distractions, tomorrow's plans, and self-absorbed thoughts. And I would ask God to use me as his instrument. Then I would feel his love flow through me and out into the world, providing healing and comfort to those in need. It was WONDERFUL to be the conduit of all of that LOVE !

I don't think that God needed me -- I think that it was the people who had turned their backs on him, and couldn't accept his love directly that needed the use of human intervention. And I DO believe that we were all put here to act as his instruments in helping each other.

A deer will stomp you to death if he is in rut, a bear will eat you if it is hungry, a lion will run from you or kill you if it gets scared,.
I think walking up to a wild animal is dangerous, because even a cute little rabbit, can give you rabies... It says in the Bible in Revelation that a little child will lie down next to a lion, BUT that situation is reserved for the END OF TIME as we know it...

Yes, and more! I've heard the rocks sing along with every blade of grass, leaves on the trees and the clouds over head. You are part of everything and everything is a part of you. nothing is ever with held, you have only to accept, and join the praise.

For some interesting reading about this subject try Cosmic Consciousness by Richard M. Bucke, it may be hard to find, but well worth the hunt.

minus the whole animal part, yeah. its great. its this absolute feeling of peace, that its all good no matter what, and that everything is just right, even if everything seemed to suck 3 minutes prior. i'm nor religous, but I am spiritual, and let me tell you, it is the ultimate feeling. I'm kinda excited to see what death feels like (not that I'm saying I wanna die, lol, NO WAY, I have too much to do first) :D

I once had a bull-elk approach me near the base of Mt. Rushmore. It kind of freaked me out until I realized I'd taken to much ibogaine with my lunch at Sonic, and left one of those little salt packets in my shirt pocket.
