it is a completely unanswerable question, simply because no one is able to recieve a difinitive answer from whatever higher power there is, or is not. it is a question of faith rather, each believes that they are the correct religion because of faith, they have been taught to believe without proof.
in which case every religion concieved is in theory correct, but also, none of the religions: Including Athiesm, are correct.
so believeing in something is the most one can do.
I hold the belief that God is too large a concept/soul/being to be housed in one tiny narrow religion and is instead part and parcel of every diety ever concieved.
but the answer to that question is your own.

Here is how I see it:
First came the Jewish religion (book 1 and 2) who believed in all the prophets until Moses,
Then came Christians, who I think believe in all prophets and Jesus (book 3)
Then came Islam (the final book that completes the religion: book 4) which believes in all prophets and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as the last prophet.
Judaism and Islam have a lot in common: for example there is one God who has no son, wife etc; that pig is a dirty animal which should not be consumed; that alcohol is bad for you; and that animal should be cut from the neck and blood drained, and that prayers should be made to God; and that all messengers were prophets, nothing more etc. (I dont know too much about Judism, I think what i have mentioned above is right - I hope).
Christianity out of nowhere makes the claim: Jesus is the son of God... and allows pig consumption, alcohol consumption, and its prayers are super different (songs and all that). Christianity's very basis is too different. I'm not saying that bible is wrong. I believe in the bible -the original bible. What we have today and the very day "Jesus is son of God" claim was made, it became different. It contradicted the books before it and the book after it.

First of all Islam is not worshipping the same God as Christianity or Judaism. The Koran contradicts what the Bible at so many points that it cannot be the same thing. Even if you just take the old testament books that the Jewish use there are such vast differences in the things that God tells us to do that they are simply incompatible. Anything that is true can be added to and twisted to turn it into something else entirely. That doesn't mean the twisted version is the same thing.

People need to realize Judism is not a 'major religion' .. 25 million is hardly a drop in the bucket compared to Xianity and Islam. Hindu is also much larger than Judism.
There are even more Atheists than Jews. It's a very minor religion. The problem is, that Xians need Jews to justify themselves. They basically hijacked Judism and installed a savior. So without it, they're nothing but a 2nd rate blood-cult, which is really all they are with it :)

Well, Christians started that way--but now have a 3-1 concept that they cannot really explain. "It's like an egg, or a cherry pie, or mother- daugher-wife thing!" They can't explain it because it is NOT in the Bible. They word Trinity never appears in the Bible. Maybe because it doesn't exsist! Jesus (pbuh) always refered to himself as a "son of man." I personally think that if He was God walking on Earth, which is pretty big news, he might have least clued somebody in on it! But, Islam teaches us that we are not allowed to say who is going to heaven or hell. Only God is the Judge and only He knows our true intentions and our hearts. I think Jews got off the track back then in quest for money and power. Jesus himseld stated in the Bible that he did not bring a new religion to the people, but came to confirm the proper laws of Judism--he was a practicing Jew. Islam came to complete our religion, especially because Paul, who never even met Jesus, who the other deciples were upset with, invented the trinity concept to make good with the Romans. Southpark says the answer was Mormans, but I know it is Islam and only God is the Judge and God knows best!

Judaism came to light to stop idol worship and animism in Africa. Christanity was a reformation of Judaism. Islam was a reformation of Christanity.
I will say Islam because out of all the three religions, Islam is the only one that guarantees heaven to believers of one god.
Meaning Christians and Jews, under Islamic principle, can reach the same awards even without the same belief.
Christianity is all about Jesus and Judaism is all about someone coming, no "pass and go" for non-believers.

We as humans try to put God in a box. He is smarter than all of us and recognized early on the that different cultures would accept him differently. It applies to eastern religions as well. There is a very Jungian Archetype in religion. A universal set of rules that teach us how to live together. Rules that cover stealing, killing, lying and how we should respect one another. Every religion has a concept of the "Golden Rule". God gave as all a perfect message. We just screwed it up. Each religion in its zeal to please God interpreted the message to suit their needs. In turn we twisted the message of living together in harmony as one people diverse in our beliefs but unified in the concept of the Golden Rule to a world where only "we" (insert any religion) can be right. The real answer is none of them are "RIGHT" for everyone because everyone is different - the one that gives you personal hope and guides you to treat others well is right for you. As a species we just need to get over the fact that we aren't the smartest beings in the universe and that some basic principles regardless of how they may offend some are truisms. Check it out - regardless of who your personal prophet may or may not be if we all lived by the "Golden Rule" wouldn't the world be a better place?

Here's my answer. I hope you don't mind that it's in the form of a song.
Spread Your Love by Cal Jennings
(A knock at the door song.)
Ki, Chi, The Source, The Force, are just
Different names for God.
It's Really very simple,
But to you in may seem odd.
It's through the Holy spirit
That God spreads Jesus love.
So evr'yone let's all join hands
And spread peace from above.
The world is flled with hatred and war,
Greed, lust, violence, and sin.
We've got to fight a spiritual war
That first comes from within.
So if you call God Allah,
Buddah, Krishna, or Id,
It's time to come together in peace.
It's about time that we did.
Refrain:
Spread your love throughout the world.
Let your light shine bright.
It's time to break the darkness
And turn on our inner light.

The answer is neither! Only a religion that accepts and follows ALL the teachings of God's holy word, The Bible, and obeys ALL of God's ten commandements given at Sinai to Moses, written on two tables of stone by the finger of God, can be right.
