To understand the Mark of the beast--you have to read all these scriptures.

First of all; we have to know the opposite of it.
The Seal of God is in the 4th Commandment in Exodus 20:8-11; references are John 4:22-24 and Rev.14:7.
Sabbath in Encyclopaedia Americana, Vol.24, pp.68-69.
The Sabbath Day is Saturday.
Look it up in dictionaries, encyclopedias and etc.

But anyway a SEAL contains 3 things.
1. HIS NAME,
2. HIS OFFICIAL POSITION, TITLE OR AUTHORITY
3. THE EXTENT OF HIS DOMINION AND JURISDICTION

Now the SEAL in the 4th Commandment is
1. THE LORD
2. MADE {office,creator}
3. HEAVEN AND EARTH {dominion}

If we know the SEAL is the 7th day sabbath Saturday (EXOD.20:8-11); then rejecting it would be the MARK.

REV.7:2-3 "AND I SAW ANOTHER ANGEL ASCENDING FROM THE EAST, HAVING THE SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD: AND HE CRIED WITH A LOUD VOICE TO THE FOUR ANGELS, TO WHOM IT WAS GIVEN TO HURT THE EARTH AND THE SEA,

SO IF YOU KEEP SATURDAY HOLY(JN.4:22-24) AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST FAITH; YOU WILL HAVE THE(REV.14:12) "SEAL OF GOD".

Most people have followed the church; look what Rev.13:1 says "...and all the world wondered after the beast." What does this mean; will if you seen every domination---they follow the Catholic's teachings which are false(Dan.8:12). This is the image of the Beast. This is what God tells his people that are in 1st Babylon and 2nd Babylon in Rev.18:4 "...Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye not receive her plagues."

The Mark of the beast is 666! To accept the beast's mark is to not accept God's Holy Sabbath Day Saturday as Working on the Sabbath.

ACTUALLY THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS WHAT PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND! IT'S VERY SIMPLE REALLY; YOU HAVE TO DO THE OPPOSITE OF IT.
THE OPPOSITE OF THE MARK IS THE "SEAL OF GOD" WHICH IS IN THE 4TH COMMANDMENT(EXOD.20:8-11; REV.14:7). BUT IF YOU DON'T KEEP HIS DAY(MARK) AND FOLLOW THE CATHOLIC CHURCH(IMAGE); HE WILL GIVE YOU THIS(REV.14:9-11).

Rev.13:16 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive the mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads."

Rev.13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

It even has casted "all the truth to the ground" = Dan.8:12

The idea of the "mark of the beast" comes from Revelations 13:16-18. In the King James Version, this passage is rendered: "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred three score and six."

Some, like the respected Biblical scholar Dr. Delbert R. Hillers assert that "the beast" is Rome's ancient Emperor Nero (an anti-Christian), and that the number 666 was associated with him at the time of the manuscript's writing. This is the viewpoint held by the Roman Catholic Church.

If true, this means that the mark cannot be removed, but since Nero has since died nearly two millenia ago, we don't really have cause to worry about it ;)

The mark of the beast isnt around yet but may be in the works. The mark of the beast will most likely be a chip implanted in the hand or forehead. Has anyone heard of the new national ID being instated in the United States. We are one of the last countries to do this. It will basically be a card for American citizens and without it you cant work, open a checking account, or even fly anywhere. How easy would it be to link our National Id with the rest of the worlds for the One World Order of the tribulation. Anyone who takes the mark of the beast will be condemned by God and even if you find a way to remove it it wont change the fact that you took and in doing so made your choice to serve the Anti Christ instead of the one true God

I have the impression that it is supposed to be indelible. Once you get it, you can never remove it.

The number originally stood for Nero, the emperor who was so cruel to Christians; and it appears likely that there will be some sort of revived Roman empire (an apostate church or political entity like the Common Market) that will fill the role Nero once filled. History repeats itself, and the events are similar enough that the prophecies overlap.

As far as goes the days to come, we don't know exactly what form the mark of the beast will take. It seems to be for two purposes: one is as an identity mark (maybe an electronic tattoo or printed circuit through the skin) and the other is as a 'smart' card for financial transactions (without the mark, nobody will be allowed to buy or sell anything, or hold a job.)

It may have other puposes and fuctions of which we do not yet know; for example, if the above functions can be programmed into the mark, it should probably also be able to function as a communicator (for brainwashing and indoctrination purposes; possibly also for 'corrections' and punisments); and as a global positioning tracker (so that everybody's whereabouts can be tracked instantly.)

These concepts would have made no sense to the first century Christians, but they make more sense now as we get closer to the time of the end. Once, everybody believed that there would be some sort of 'image', a physical idol, of the person called the beast, to which everybody would have to travel and before which everybody would have to bow. Now, with television, we understand how it is possible that the 'image' of the beast will be transmittied into everybody's living room; even as George Orwell foresaw 'Big Brother' doing in his novel 1984.

Only those who are to be thrown into the lake of fire will get the mark. So, if it is offered to you, refuse it. Better to die without it than live with it. The best thing to do would be to trust Jesus as soon as possible. Ask Him to seal you with His Holy Spirit so that there will not be any room in your life for the beast, or for anything that belongs to the beast.

No one has it at this time except the beast himself. In the future there will be two clear choices between following God's Word on certain issues or listening to the beast power instead. The majority will go with this, but the majority will be wrong. The mark will not necessarily be a literal one, but will be in the forehead and in the right hand according to scripture-these can symbolize our minds and what affects our jobs. (Most people are right-handed for their work.) This is a heavy topic that deserves study in God's Word, with good guidance. See the following website for more info.
