bballsistaKT is an ignorant badword. Hate you so bad.

The idea comes from egocentrism and fear. There is some heard mentality in humans to weed out the wierdos.

Because the religious fundamental patients need an excuse to hate gay people. Since their silly bible says that homosexuals should be stoned to death (odd how they pick and choose from a lot of other 'laws' on the same page) and of course their magical bible can never be wrong they need some way to justify their false and hateful belief.

Here's what every conversation on the subject is like with a fundamental patient:

'Gawd wouldn' make 'em people sinful.'

Really? Then why is it that gay people themselves say that they felt this way since childhood?

'Cuz der jus' lyin' cuz dey need n' excuse tuh sin'.

So they are gay just to spite your god?

'Nah cuz the devil make 'em sinners!'

So then, they aren't being homosexuals by choice?

'Nah, they is.'

But you just said that Satan -

'Ah no whut I said, go read yur bible n' hush!'

Hey man, do you want to make out?

'Only if'n ya give me a reach aroun'."

We are able to make choices, not like animals or machines or inanimate objects. Sometimes I have a tendency to do things that are selfish or prideful or that just plain lack judgment. But I am able to make a choice not to. Just because my default nature is to be selfish or prideful or careless, it doesn't mean that in allowing my nature to take its course I haven't made a choice. It's just the lazy choice.

I don't know where it comes from. I suppose close-minded christians. I am a christian but I don't believe homosexuality is necessarily a choice. I am tempted by many, many sins in this world, but that just isn't one of them.

for millenia mankinds most pressing need is the preservation of the species, so not having hetero sex was suspect. But that didn't change the prevelence of homos, even today in the animal world over 30 species have been known to exhibit homo behavior, even bonding for life with a member of the same sex.
if god is infallible, then it must be ok to be gay

What are you really asking here? I wonder how people think that they are born that way? Every person I have met that claims to be homosexual has been traumatically abused in their cildhood and their sexual orientation has been a resulting condition of that trauma.

In order to feel better than everyone, homophobes need a scapegoat. I suppose a high divorce rate is not a threat to marriage, in the minds of conservatives.

God would never put somebody in this world that was wired with a natural abomination. We are born pure, and through our lives Satan comes along and tries to destroy our innocence. With many he succeeds.
