We can know the nature of God through Jesus Christ who is the express image of His Father. Read the book of John in the Bible. You will see what God is like. Jesus Christ puts the skin on God so to speak.
Hebrews 1:2-3 tells us: "[God] has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who is the brightness of His [the Father's] glory, and the express image of His Person . . ." Christ was in the likeness of His Father in nature and character. This tells us that God is quite awesome, loving, kind, and true. He is not just some Person that is completely unknowable. I know Him more and more each day. He's very, very real.

Yes its possible. Ive never really known the term Deism until now, but I'm one who believe that we can never fully undertsand the nature of God. Sure, we can have assumptions based on our limited understanding of things, we can see amazing things that prove that God is there (Jesus, The Islam Phrophet, Siddharta Gauttama..) but God showing us that doesnt mean He is showing His true nature. He is just "stepping down" to our level so as to simplify HIs infinitely complicated nature. He's just building a temporary "connection".
Why I believe this to be so is because if there is an infinitesimal possibility that we can understand His true nature, there is also the infinitesimal possibility that we (not only humans but whatever beings we will evolve into in the future) can develop the science and technology to reach that level (if there's anything that can be understood, it can be achieved). And therefore, if He is not beyond our understanding, He is not the Supreme Being, and He is not God.
In this sense you can still be spiritual by knowing that there is unfathomable Deity, Force, Supreme Being, God, Holy Trinity whatever.. governing everything that is alread understood and not yet understood, and this, I believe, is the fundamental pillar of Faith.
(P.S. Let's stop personalizing God like He was Human. Perhaps He's partly so but to assume that He did "this" and He said "that" is a little bit oversimplifying His Majesty.)

I would say get a King James version Bible and start with that.
It's up to you, what your thoughts are about God. (I hope good..:0)
I will tell you he is the only way to go, I could tell you some stories.
I have been at the bottom of the pit and came back up to the top of the rainbow, it all depends on the person i guess. God is always there for us, will never leave us no matter what. Once you give your life to him your sins are forgotten about forever.
The International version bible is alot more at ease for some to read, and you may want to start there.
God Bless You,
He is with you now,, believing in something is not always seeing, seeing in something is worth believing!

Yes. I for many years did not understand the nature of God, but I was sincerely seeking the Truth on my spiritual journey. I just over time naturally understood the nature of God. There is no wrong way to define where or who you are right now. Just whatever feels right for you.

God is what ever you believe them to be. Male, female... You seek spirituality, it is really in whatever you believe. And yes... it can be answered by you alone, as you seek what you need or want in a spirituality. Everyone has thier own beliefs.. I come from a family of 4 different religions. My father is evangelical, my mother was lutheran, my older sister is Catholic, I was born in England and am from the "Church of England".. and my little sister to this day has not made up her mind what she is or believes.

it is. don't laugh, but i had this notion that while there are Christians and Muslims and other denominations, i think there is just this Someone-Greater- Than-Us-All. you will feel him, because you know he's there, but he's also like this person you never met but you feel connected. religion is spiritual but not having one does not mean you are not spiritual. everything is a process of discovery and everyone, for now, is guessing the truth about God.

Nobody knows the nature of God/Gods, thats the point. Just learn as much as possible and make your own judgements.

Everyone has a soul!We are made for a personal relationship with God. God says "if you search for me you will find me if you search for me with all your heart".So everyone feels a spiritual connection whether they want t o admit it or not.
