When you are faced with a decision, make that decision as wisely as possible, and then forget it, because the moment of absolute certainty never arrives.
It is such a universal truth. The only thing we can do is the best that our intellects will allow. Take action based on that intellect, and don't worry about it, because you can never be certain about anything you do! Ever since I first read that quote, it has been something that I've tried to live by.

Hmm...this is hard...I like this one quote from The Notebook but there are soo many quotes I like that I just picked this random one.
"I am no one special. Just a common man with common thoughts. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I've loved another with all my heart and soul and for me that has always been enough."
This is soo sweet and it's really cute. O so true as well.

I personally like two because they both inspire and get a point across well.
This one shows us that if we balance ourselves, we would be very successful.
‘If A equals success, then the formula is:
A = X+Z+Y. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut.’ –Albert Einstein–
The second one proves that for perfection, you need mistakes.
"Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life." -Dr. David Burns-

“I walk slowly, but I never walk backward”
“I do the very best I know how, the very best I can, and I mean to keep on doing so until the end”
“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That's my religion.”
I cannot decide between these quotes because they are all great. Basically, i like them because they are common, simple, and down to earth, and i agree a great deal with them.

"Before you criticize anyone, try walking in their shoes for a mile. That way, you will be a mile away from them and also have their shoes."
This is a twisted quote - it accomodates various quotes and has a light and practical vein too.

We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act.
(This quote says it all)

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us..."
Marianne Williamson
That's not the full quote, but this is my favorite portion of it. To me it's saying that people are afraid of how great they can be, and how good they can be. It's not the bad that shakes us up...it's the good in us that surprises us at times...and that times we're afraid to take risks and chances, to be all who we can be.
