i really like this guy and he really likes me...we talk all the time and we both want a relationship but there is one huge problem...my older brother and him dont get along and they never will....how can i be in a relationship without my brother trying to ruin it

Oh... I feel so close to you. It is also very hard for the guy too. I am so in love with my gf, but I dont get along with her brother. Even though I show him so much respect, the guy is a jerk. I dont know what to do, cause I don't how my gf feels about the situation and how much she cares about it. I think if told your friend how you feel about the situation, that it does not bother you, and that it is nothing serious, I think both you and him will get along better and your brother (once he notices noone cares) come along TOO. BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY, if you convice your parents, especially your father, your brother should be affected alot.

tell your brother to lay off and that you really like this guy. i have a friend who was i the same sit. she told her brother that if hew really loved her then he would leave her boyfriend alone. but then again tell your boyfriend to chill and dont provoke your brother. good luck

you're brother will just have to get over that
its your life, and you don't find very many good guys that often
so when you find one that likes you back, its almost a miracle.
so go for it, im sure you're brother will get over it..
but then again i dont know your brother.

Just go for it. You brother can deal. Just talk to him and tell him it is your life and he is just giong to have to be civil with this guy.
