i don't really know about any of the other things u asked but i can tell u about angels and demons. Angels are God's messangers and the people that inhabit heaven. like us they have free will also. God created angels when he decided to create heaven. Demons and Hell didn't exist until one of the angels decided to sin. he decided that he wuz better than God and that he wuz more fit to be king than God wuz. i don't know if i explained that rite, but bascially he wuz jealous. then God cast him out of heaven and everyone that decided to go with him. thats when hell wuz created. the angel became Satan and his fellowers became demons.

You dont ask for much, do you? Hehehe. These questions you ask could fill volumes to answer. Unfortunately, we only have a paragraph or two. Such a daunting task, considering your question is not specific.
There were no missing books of the bible. Some books were "cannonized" and others weren't. The books were always there, the leaders of the church decided which books to include in the bible, and which to ignor. I will not say whether I think that is right or wrong, instead I will say, it is what it is.
Vatican conspiracies..yes, and its not a new thing. There have many thoughout the history of the church. There have been evil pontiffs, and questionable practices, and it seemed the church has at times done exactly the opposite things that Jesus taught us. That is fact, not speculation.
Angels and demons. Either you believe or you dont believe. If you are a beliver there is no doubt of the existance of these creatures, and there are a lot of them too boot. Angels and demons are really the same thing in most ways, with one big difference. Angels chose good, and demons chose evil. I do not believe demons turned into hideous monsters that breath fire, like we are told. I think they look exactly like the angels, and that is how they are able to do what they do. Nobody would follow a monster except a fool. The demons look exactly like the good, and us humans dont know which is which. So many are decieved.

There are of course "missing books" from the bible. The bible is an edited version of all the gospels together. in turn some were left out. when king james (hence the name of the bible) ordered the bible to be made, it was thousands upon thousands of pages. what he basically said was to put together a few goo stories and make sure the relevent ones get in, but dont worry about the other stuff. that right there is no secret at all. in fact, this was king james' decree:
The ordinary Bible, read in the church, commonly called the Bishops' Bible, to be followed, and as little altered as the original will permit....
The old ecclesiastical words to be kept; as the word church, not to be translated congregation, &c.
When any word hath divers significations, that to be kept which has been most commonly used by the most eminent fathers, being agreeable to the propriety of the place, and the analogy of the faith....
No marginal notes at all to be affixed, but only for the explanation of the Hebrew or Greek words, which cannot, without some circumlocution, so briefly and fitly be expressed in the text.
Such quotations of places to be marginally set down, as shall serve for the fit references of one scripture to another....
These translations to be used when they agree better with the text than the Bishops' Bible, viz. Tyndale's, Coverdale's, Matthew's, Whitchurch, Geneva.

The vatican didn't even exist when the bible was constructed. Many books were left out at the council of nicene, where they made the decisons of what went in, and what stayed out. The gnostic texts were left out, basically because they were written so long after His crucifiction, the writers wouldn't have even have 2nd hand knowledge about any of the diciples, not to mention the gnostic tests are very unlike the books we know. A couple of other books were left out, such as Enoch, who is mentioned in the bible but I guess they felt there was too much angelic info in that book, or something, who knows? If you're looking for info on angels and demons, read Enoch. Its obvious that Jewish men of biblical time all knew the Book of Enoch, as its referenced in our bible. So basically, I think the only books you'll find that were really "left out" of the bible are the gnostic tests, which are very convoluted and don't hold much weight, and a couple of texts like Enoch that the council just didn't think was pertinent. I'm sure the vatican has copies of all of those "lost books", but since we all know about them, and you can get copies from the net if you want, I wouldn't say the vatican is hiding them, as much as protecting valuable, historical documents. Like I said, if you want to read those texts, look them up on the net.

There are several books of the bible that were left out of many bibles, called the Apocrypha. There are also a few books that are in the Catholic bible that are not in all bibles. Also the Gnostic Gospels have many books that were determined by the Septuagint (the organization of men comissioned by the Roman Emperor at the time who determined what writings the bible should contain) to be inaccurate or unnecessary or just plain wrong. These books were ordered to be destroyed by the Septuagint, but someone kept a copy of them and they were just found and translated in recent history. However there are Gnostic religions that use these Gospels, and one of the Gospels is supposed to have been written by Mary Magdalene. There are theories that her gospel was omitted because it was written by a woman...however the book of Ruth contradicts that. These Gnostic Gospels can be accessed on the internet.
I don't know much about the stories of angels and demons, but I do know that Michael, the Archangel's name appears in the Koran as well as the bible. Angels and Archangels only have very brief mention in the bible. Most of the stories about demons are about how they were cast out, and how they could be cast out by anyone in Jesus' name.

Just type in "lost gospels" in your search engine and see what comes up. Most likely, "Gnostic Writtings" will appear.
The Gospels of Thomas, Judas, Phillip and Mary are the primary ancient writtings. In the KJV of the Bible, the "Apacrypha" is left out, which is a beautiful group of Wisdom writtings.
The Dead Sea Scrolls are another group of lost / found sacred writtings you should review.
In the Dead Sea Scrolls there is a passage which imparts;
"No structure of wood and stone can completely contain the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is within you and all around you. For split a piece of wood and you will find it. Pick up a stone and there it is!"
This passage means that we really do not need the buildings we refer to as "the church." It is for this very reason, Christianity has refused to expand the Bible. It would put many religious leaders out of their comfort zone and out of control of their followers.
Jesus Himself said, "Where there are two or more gathered in My name, I am there too." He didn't say anything about having to be any specific religion or that we needed to be in a church to do so. Jesus taught the Rabbis in the Synogogues and to the people, He taught them mostly outdoors.
Joseph, husband of Mary the Mother of Jesus, was a carpenter. For some reason he never built a building for Jesus to teach in.
The Ancient writtings also go into giving women more of a role in Christianity.
Personally, I believe that as all things God created, expand ... so too should the knowledge about God and humanitiy's relationship with the Divine. "All things have a time and a season," and I feel that as Lost Scripture is found, so too should it be implimented into what we already know.
As humanity was created in the Image of God, so too could it be that the Earth was created in the Image of Heaven. For humanity, this is a trial run for the opertunity to acquire eternal life. I think God takes that a lot more seriously than humanity thinks. So God views each man / woman on an individual basis.
I hope I've been of help to you.

I have heard, but have not researched, that the Freemasons are a part of the conspiracy. Here is a website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemasonry
Also, it is believed that the Vatican hand picked the gospels themselves and destroyed or hid the ones they thought damning to the church. Again, I have no actual proof of this, but since the discovery of a new Gospel not too long ago (that actually says Jesus asked to be crucified by his disciple, and not that he was betrayed) the theory doesn't sound so far fetched.
p.s., I am not answering your question by referring to Dan Brown, because no where in your question, is he mentioned, and his book, is admittedly fiction.

i do not understand some thing about what the Vatican would or received't have in its archives. besides the indisputable fact that i keep in mind that lots of the Protestant bibles do no longer have each and each of the books that are familiar through the Orthodox Church as "sensible" or "worthwhile" - regularly called the apocrypha. From Wikipedia: "Surviving manuscripts of the total Christian Bible comprise a minimum of lots of the Apocrypha besides as disputed books. After the Protestant and Catholic canons were defined through Luther and Trent respectively, early Protestant and Catholic ameliorations of the Bible did not bypass over those books, yet placed them in a separate Apocrypha area apart from the former and New Testaments to point their status." As to why they were no longer lined in the canon of books lined in the Bible, this replaced right into a decision of the Holy Fathers and Holy moms of the Church.

I know there is a missing book from the Bible about a dragon that was removed, but I'm sorry to say that I don't know anything more about it. I know a few stories about angels and demons, but nothing you can't find in the Bible....like the pig herder who had a demon, and probably the most famous one, where satan was kicked out of Heaven.

search for it on google, you'll find on various sites that Dan Brown's fiction is fiction or what he's done is take one small truth and spread it into something wild. For instance, his claim that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene is because in one gospel it said that she (one of the 3 women with him) kissed him. The secret society does exist but isn't a cult or secret, etc. Englighten yourself.
