I have never seen that specifically spelled out in the Bible. The Bible condemns homosexuality. However the Bible condemns LOTS of stuff, like wearing a shirt made of two different types of materials. Or working on a Sunday. Even tattoos were forbidden!

We all have free will to make choices everyday. But why are some biblical rules followed to a point of mass hysteria, while many others are ignored?

I am not gay, but I am tattooed, so if gays are in deep trouble for "choosing" to break biblical laws, then I guess I'll be right there beside them in the hot water!

It doesn't. It just says that a man shouldn't lay with a man and that Sodomy is a sin. The whole "being gay is a choice" is an invention of men who were born long after the Bible was written. They figure that God wants people to procreate, so a man being attracted to a woman is natural. Hence, they postulate that a man being attracted to a man is not natural and thus not ordained by God. If it's not ordained by God, they then make the conclusion that it must not be something inherent in a person, but rather the result of a choice made by that person.

The Bible doesn't answer every question. But being gay is not a choice. I know gay people. THEY DON'T WANT TO BE GAY! They want to fit in with society, they don't want people to hate them! They are not gay by choice REGARDLESS of what the Bible says.

It doesn't LOL

The Bible also doesn't say that peanut butter and jelly taste good together, but it turns out they really do. Even if you believe the Bible is a source of truth, I don't know anyone who thinks that *all* truths in the world are written in the Bible.

Being gay IS a choice...but it IS against God.

God gives us free will or choices to do and live as we please. But if and when we sin against Him we will have to pay the consequences.

God is the judge. And He will judge us all. He will judge liars, fornicators, murders, thieves, adulterers, etc. and He will judge homosexuals. God has told us NOT to do these things.
God refers to the homosexual as an un-natural use of their bodies. Look this up, if you don't believe me.... Romans 1:18 through 31. It tells of all sins...and names them. Homosexuality is a sin...read again the verses 26 and 27. God spells it out for you. {men with men...}

It ends by saying,
"who knowing the righteous judgement of God, practice such things are deserving of death, not only those that do them, but also those that approve of those that practice them".

These are God's laws. It is a Christian's mission to warn those that practice any kind of sin...and to warn those that condone any sin. (Not to judge...but to warn, and to be a witness for Jesus Christ.) Christians sin...and we are punished when we sin... Christians are not perfect, just forgiven. Read John 3:16.

I hope this helped and I pray it answered your question.

God bless you.

I'm Muslim and in the Holy Quran, read Sodom and Gommora and how God sent down angels to warn the people and how he destroyed their village. It's in the Bible also. God created both Man and women so they could make perfect spouses. In every major religion it is deemed wrong and an abomination to mankind.

Where in the bible where it says they are born gay?

It doesn't, it comes from the arguement that goes way back, verbatim VS interpretation. verbatim interpretation is strict: they believe in what the bible says, exactly. interpretationists believe in the underlying concepts, they allow themselves room to interpret what it says, usually to suit their needs. Also a huge part of that arguement is in the translation, the original Hebrew and Latin texts make absolutely no reference to homosexuality, they didn't have a word for it because it was accepted.

It doesn't but God gives us free will to do as we choose. Therefore we can make our own choices, good or bad.

Galatians 5:13 "You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature, rather serve one another in love"

The Bible sucks. I'm going to go meditate to the astral plane and check the akashic records of all existence to see who really wrote that stuff, just so I know who to blame.
