End Times??

I have seen a few things happening in the world lately and the planet seems to be growing more and more chaotic with every hurricane and every baby murdered in the womb. Have you seen anything that could possibly be a sign of the end times. If yes, what?

Now as He [that’s Jesus] sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
Matthew 24:3-7


People say we always have had wars and famine but read on

“All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:8

The word Jesus uses for sorrows is the word “odin” which translated means contractions or labor pains.

The closer the contractions the sooner the arrival

What are the three areas that Jesus said to watch out for?

Religious world
Political world
Natural world

Religious World:
It is estimated that about 1000 people in America alone claim they are Jesus

Political World:
In the 20th century over 200 million people died as a result of war
There are 38 armed conflicts going on in 28 nations
Terrorist attacks in 2003 totaled 175. It rose to 655 in 2004

Natural World
Almost 1/6 of the world’s population can’t meet basic nutritional needs
Pestilence- AIDS, SARS, Bird Flu, Mad Cow Disease, West Nile Virus
The Hurricanes of the past few yrs
In the first 1500 yrs after Jesus the earth averaged about 2 major earthquakes each century
But it made a dramatic increase to about 130 in the 1900s

some people may type for 30 mins on this but I just want to say a few things. Peolpe have been predicting the end of the earth since the biggning and no one has been right yet. Every generation wants to be the last one, that one spacial group that was there at the end so they will read every little problam that occures as something predicting the end of times. We tend to forget how much turmoil the world has always been in and think it is somehow worse for us than preceeding generations. The truth is only God knows when it will happen so we should just live oure lives like it could be our last day and make the most of it.

i dont need to see it you just need to wacth the news and read papers i live in a small country called new zealand a nice quite country even so we have a fair share of rubbish earth is nothing but a big learning curve for us humans over thousands of years we are getting greedier and wanting more power/money everything material how whole race has lost its way.too many people dont like 2 talk about spirits(soul) all that occult stuff and to many other people are hooked on a religion and arnt open minded especially christians but the fact is there is no religion its all made up by man and has been corrupted over the years and made even worse there are many bad priests etc out there were all humans with free wil there are supurier gods but the fact is the only thing thats important in this world is your family,friends and being as generous and kind as you can and be honest for earth is nothing but a learning experience to purify your spirit yes we all have one physical body is just a shell and is garbage once you die there is no such thing as hell or the devil the only devils are man and how they treat other man and greed we are becoming a disgusting arrogant race thousands of years ago man use to communicate telepathically through there minds its very rare now my mum has the gift and a few others well got a bit side tracked but yea eventually man will end up destroying the earth polluting it and destroying it with atomic bombs etc.

BEASTS
In Dan.7:2-8 we have 4 great beast come up from the sea. Sea, that is peoples of the earth. The first 3 beasts co-exist when the 4th beast rises. The 1st beast is Great Britain and the United States. The 2nd beast is Russia and communism. The 3rd beast is camouflaged with spots. It has 4 heads or hidden dynasties. (PEER) Politics, Economy, Education, and Religion. 2 sets of wings which is media and communication. The 4th beast is the same as the beast of Rev.13:1-2. It is a one world system or new world order. This beast is still rising out of the sea. It will have 7 heads or dominions, 10 horns or leaders. Then will come up a little horn which is AntiChrist.

APOSTASY
In II Thes.2:3 there will be “a falling away” first, apostasia in Greek. This is defection from truth or divorcement from God.

PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE
In Matt.24:32-34 Mark 13:28-30 the generation which sees this fig shoot “set up” will not die until all these things be fulfilled. This happened when Israel became a nation again May 15, 1948. This coincides with the baby-boomer generation and they have Grey hair.

WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS BE
In Matt.24:3-8, Mark 13:5-8, Luke 21:8-11.
Many shall come in my name (authority) saying I am Christ (Christian) and shall deceive many.
The best example of this is the so-called Rapture. This is a LIE which can easily be disproved by God’s Word. Christ returns at the seventh trump.
Wars and rumors of war.
Nation shall rise (rouse from obscurity) against (along side) nation kingdom against (along side) kingdom.
The words “shall rise” (eg-i'-ro) in Greek means “rouse from obscurity”.
This word “against” (epi) in Greek means “along side” not in opposition to.
Since 1990 (30) new countries have emerged. We now have the global market place or the global community.
Famines. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
This famine of hearing the words of the LORD is very apparent on TV. Maybe a verse or two then mans’ words for 20 minutes.
Pestilences. Aids, mad cow disease, bird flu and etc.
Earthquakes in diverse places.
This word “earthquakes” (seismos) in Greek means both “earthquake and tempest”.
Look at the hurricanes we have been having.
All these are the beginning of sorrows (birth pangs).
This word “sorrows” (odin) in Greek means “birth pangs of childbirth”.
The birth pangs of a new dispensation, and the contractions are getting closer together. The water may have broke during the tsunami of 2004.

SCOFFERS
II Pet.3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, II Pet.3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

PERILOUS TIMES
II Tim.3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. II Tim.3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, II Tim.3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Endless chain of wars. The world hasn't had a time of peace. World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Iraq, Afghanistan (im sure i missed a few).

Natural disasters. Earth quakes everywhere, Tsunami, the terrible hurricanes (KATRINA!!).

People are not affectionate, they're hateful and deceiving. No love, no loyalty, no integrity.

Also alot of the things said to happen were impossible up until recently. It is said that there will be an army of 200,000,000, last year China boasted that they had 200,000,000 within draft age with 10,000 added to that number every year.

People are always saying "the end is near" and of course so far they have been very wrong. You would be much more likely to be right if you say the end will not be tomorrow. Because I have lived about 12,700 days and if i said "the end is NOT tomorrow" I would have been right 12,700 times.
If I said "The end is tomorrow" then so far I would have been right zero times.
