Yes, however most fishing license does not cover for trout/salmon you would have to buy a stamp with the license. I dunno about cali but in most places it's like this (trout/salmon stamp) you would have to read the rules & regulations.

Have you tried looking online and buying it online....i had to buy mine online for illinois because nobody had the licenses in yet it might cost a little more like a dollar or 2 but it should work to buy online...lemme know how it goes

if you can read------get a calif.--fishing guide at any place that sells calif. fishing license---all the rules are there for you

yeah you are able to circulate to Hesperia lake, Corona lake. lake evans, trout farms or maybe the sea piers. those places are in southern cali yet at Hesperia and Corona you are able to seize monster cats and trout or maybe get lightning trout at corona lake. solid success to ya
