Where would you go to look up a 1982 Chevrolet Suburban, with 50,000 (approx) miles..to find the book value?

While there is a glut of old Suburbans in Texas (I'm assuming you're in Texas, hottie), one of the vintage and condition you describe should be worth about $1000. A bit more for 4x4.

I suggest that you either call the Auto Club (if you're a member) or call your bank and ask for them "Kelly Blue Book" value of the suburban. Either institution should be able to provide you with that information. I hope that helps :-)

Afraid the best resale would be around $700, unless it's in realy good shape.

If you're selling it, you can get some nice trade in $$$
