Phosphoric Acid:Massive internal organ damage remember that this takes paint off of cars. Food Colorings and Sugar which causes Insulin overload and utimately Insulin Resistance. Long term drinking of DIET Sodas are Nerve Diseases they alledge have no known origin like MS and ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) both of which are linked to excessive consumption of ASPARTAME.Which is a combination of 2 amino acids L-Aspartic Acid and L-Phenylalanine. This sweetener in time gets converted into Formaldahyde by the Liver better known as EMBALMING FLUID. It is also a common chemical found in EPOXY GLUE and those of you who live in the PROJECTS when they do paint jobs they use Industrial Strength paint which chances are will have Formaldahyde in it. THIS is what we drink besides ACID which lowers Ph and makes you acidic incidentally a low Ph is how diseases thrive. All of these soda companies have as chief donors very large multinational Pharmaceutical Corporations like Pepsi who also owns Burger King and both of these companies are partially owned by Pharmaceutical Companies. How's that for fishy?!They have yet to do a sweeping study on the adverse affects of soda because after the study were done Coke,Pepsi,a nd all them jokers would be out of business. Don't trust Splenda either that is just as deadly as Aspartame. Read on Dr. Merccola's website and read the article on Splenda. Soda has too many adverse side effects.

You mean besides the 18 second belch at the end?
Well, there is Diabetes from the repeated intake of sugar (diet sodas are no panacea, either). There are scads of icky things that can happen to your body from that. Check out the American Diabetes Association web site.
There's that good old caffeine addiction (ever relieve a headache by drinking a Coke?)
And, lastly there are all of those fabulous additives and preservatives. Which means you may die sooner, but your corpse will look good for a long, long time.

...every 8 ounces is about 100 calories, so you'll gain weight.
..."pop" is sweetened with HFCS (high fructose corn syrup), a substance produced from corn syrup in a labratory.
Soda is liquid garbage for your body...switch to water, lowfat milk, or unsweetened ice tea.
A pop should be a treat, not an everyday drink...one a week should be your goal...and your teeth will thank you too !!!

Weight gain (fat fat fat fat fat) dental caries and erosion of tooth enamel, loss of appetite for REAL food, excessive sodium, excessive sugar, and the distinct possibility of stomach ulcers.
Some soft drinks ie. Coca-cola will slowly dissolve metal, so what can they do to your stomach?
