Between 2pm and 5pm is when our largest meals should be consumed because our Digestive Systems are the most active between 11 am and 8 pm in the evening before 11 or after 8 you should only consume easily digestable water-based foods like fruits, salads and some soups . Solid foods before 11 or after 8 are not digested very well because after 8 in the evening your digestive system will begin the process of shutting down and preparing to rest and before 11 in the morning your Digestive System IS resting. When you eat late you will not be getting quality rest because 25% of the entire human body's energy is devoted to Digestion. This energy digression is why some people wake up so sluggish and tired and eating late is an express train to weight gain. So please be careful. Basically between 2pm and 5 pm is when you should have dinner because the Digestive System is at its peak during these hours. You also have to give your body time to digest your food. Which takes 1-6 hours so if you eat your heaviest meal at 5pm that gives you 3 Hours to maximize your digestion also Digestive enzymes helps you to maximize your food absorption. One good product DIGEST GOLD By Enzymedica.

It depends on your schedule. I work 2nd shift and therefore I don't eat dinner till 10 or 11 pm. Of course I don't go to bed till 2am and don't get up till noon at the earliest. Just watch what you eat if you're going to eat late. I just have fruit or a salad for dinner. My "lunch" (normally 5 or 6 pm) is my heaviest meal. My "breakfast" is a slim-fast shake.

Most will tell you not to eat after 9:00 or 10:00 at night, because this is normally when your body's metabolism starts to slow down drastically. Hence, when you become tired and get ready for bed. :)

on a regular basis, its recommended that you eat the majority of your last meal at least 3 hours before bedtime. Its probably ok if you skip a few though

I usually eat at 8 PM. My husband works 3PM-1AM and I deliver his dinner on his meal break.

Hi,

A good habit is to eat before 7pm. If you can eat before 630pm. That is what way to discepline yourself.

Don't eat after 6, or when you go to bed, it lies there and turns to fat.
