i AM religious! I go to church and I pray. You shouldn't assume things. That's a trait of the devil.

I personally do not doubt ur faith, but as far as 'God' giving u the cold it is just a part of Nature. I have a muscular problem that i was born with, so instead of blaming the Creator or God be thankful that it is not much worse than it is. Personaly I hope u get over the cold it can be a real drag.

Wow, that's a little self-centered, don't you think?

You got a cold because, for whatever reason, God created viruses when he created everything else. Some people can't help but see some test from God in everything. Sometimes, things just happen.

God works in subtle ways, he's not going to give a person a cold just to punish them or teach them a lesson, much smaller and more subtle incidents in our lives teach us lessons.

By the way, I hope that you feel better soon.

So many people assume Jesus is their best friend, God loves them etc. - I like that. Why do bad things happen if that is so?

I doubt it is God, but some one or thing probably hates your guts and is working against you - with much more at their disposal than you have. May even be Satan. Fight the good fight - I am in your corner.

There are alot of things we don't understand yet. Yet one thing we do understand some things about is hygiene. Do the best you can with that, though sometimes it is hard to avoid cold germs if you must come into contact with alot of people.

God is love, and I don't believe in the Devil. Hate comes from yourself. There are much worse things, caused by man not god. Be thankful it is only a cold. There are children being abused, people dying for nothing. Get over yourself! God wants you to get over yourself and stop blaming him for everything.

God does not hate you, and he did not give you a cold.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3Jo 1:2)

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee. (Exo 15:26)

You made yourself sick, by treating your body poorly and weakening your immune system, and by hanging out with others who were sick.

What does God want from you? Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (Act 3:19)

Don't blame God for what you have brought on yourself.

God doesn't hate you. He allows colds as a way of fighting off possible infections. Also He may be trying to tell you that you might not be taking as good a care of yourself than you should. As my pastor says, the best way up is down.

Your common cold is caused by a virus. It is airborne and can be transmitted by close proximity to an infected person, or by touching a contaminated surface, like a countertop or doorknob. You are less likely to catch cold if you wash your hands frequently and spend more time outdoors.

If God exists, then he was probably the one who created cold virii. If that is the case, he is probably telling to wash your hands more frequently, and spend more time outdoors.

First off, God does love you no matter who you are, Second, He did not give you the cold, We are free agents to run our lives how we wish, and a common cold is one thing pretty much cannot avoid.

God didn't give you the cold. God gave you a brain to think and to take care of your own health.

Just because you caught a cold doesn't mean God hates you. Try drinking lots of fluids, and take some tylenol.
