Most Asian nations aren't racially diverse because of their culture and a historical distrust of foriegners. Racially mixed children have a very tough time, basically outcasts.

I am American, but have been to Korea. I can really talk only about that country, although I feel from what I have been told by Asians themselves that prejudice against other ethnic groups is widespread across much of Asia.

While I was in Korea, the only non-Asians I saw were American military and their dependents, which were very few. The reasons we have many multi-racial persons of Asian ancestry here in the US is because of the discrimination they face overseas.

That makes Americans no better though, because many of us are very racist too.

Yes, it is very sad that we can't just all get along and celebrate the differences in each other.

I don't think the Europian way to have diversity is a good thing. Just look what happened in France few months ago. it is a kind of racial war going on in the west now (europe and the north america). this is not because of the diversity.

There is ethnic diversity all over Asia: there are many Japanese, Chinese and Philipinos in Korea, for example. There is a lot of migration within and across Asia; just not many European or African people because until very recently, Asia was not industrialized and no immigrants from outside Asia had reasons to go there.

It is mainly because of the strong ties that bind the peoples of Asia that I think contributes to this sort of non-racially diverse population. But also, it is because of the nationalistic pride Japan has, for example. This, I think is a good sign not actually a bad one as they conserve their own traditions, cultures and beliefs.

Wow! How awful to be so prejudice! I don't understand prejudism. It never ceases to amaze me how people can base a person's inner thinking completely on his race or culture. IF anything, I guess, I am too, prejudice. I am prejudice against ignorance.

Partly they are more racist, partly they have no colonies of exslaves to move into them or already there.
