I had a Platform that finally wore out after a lot of use. I need a straightening iron that won't be too damaging and preferably ceramic and wanted to spent 150 max. what would you reccommend?

wooow stop ...dont spend so much money on it! I did at first only to have it burn up after 120usd.

I BOUGHT CONNAIR ceramic technology wide flat iron. It cost me not more than 29.00 and it does a good job.

DONT BE FOOLED BY BRANDS OR COMPANIES THAT CLAIM THEIRS IS BETTER AND THUS EXPENSIVE.

The CHI iron is the best. They're not that much on Ebay. Worth every penny.

I think Remington Wet2Straight is the best straightener ever! i used to buy $100 straighteners but and they broke instantly. now i use this and its only like $30 or $40! it owrks great!

i use remington wet2straight and it works very well. if your hair is wet, it will dry it as it straightens it. it does a great job and i hope it helps you. you should be able to find it in stores like walmart, kmart, target etc. good luck.

I always heard that Chi's were the best... Everyone who has one loves it && claims they would die without it lol

CHI work the best, even on very curly hair ... you will have complete flatness, lol. and it stays. :)

you're paying for it though ...

I really love my one from CHI. It's kind of expensive...but it works amazing!!
