Wow, well... I used to always think a family was just people who tried to hurt you and abandon you but, now I have my own wife and child so I try hard to shake that feeling off. Most of you take for granted what you have... and also say very hurtful things since you can't consider not everyone is as lucky as you were *takes deep breath* forgive and forget.

I guess I'd say... Ask not the importance of family, ask what importance *YOU* are to your family.

Family is the most important unit in society. It is the place where you practice growing up among people who will help you become all that you can. It is the place where you learn to love others unconditionally. It is the place where your heros live - your Mom and your Dad.

Family actually is the glue that holds people together. Without a family, you may just fall apart. You would have no one to turn to with your problems, no on to help you through rough times. A preson needs family, just as the family needs that person.

They are probably the only ones that will be there thru thick and thin. They are where you find love, and fulfilment without bad intentions. you can find that in friends too- if you choose them wisely. Family will always be a part of you, no matter what.
