A couple of tickets to the Spurs game next year if you are close enough to go see them in person.

Jersey's are very expensive although im sure tickets to a game would be just as high... Have you thought about the NBA cable package my son is a basketball freak and he would love to have that so he can watch all the games...

Mr. M. Example. I love the xxxxx basketball team.
It's basketball season, my team is winning and all that. But 2 months ago we were having a big laugh about that shirt that described me perfectly, but cost too much. If you got it, get the shirt. He'll appreciate it.
Then......... get him some tickets!

I would borrow one of those Betty Crocker cake pans you can bake a ball shaped cake with and decorate it like a basketball for him. Guys love to eat, and there's nothing simpler than making a boxed cake mix!

Need more info about him. How old, lives at home, has a car. I'm thinking satellite radio because he could listen to all the games that way. But that's the best I can do from what you've told me about him.

You can get him some nice CD's, treat him to a basketball game, give him a beer cup with his favorite team's logo on it and YOUR logo (by that I mean, your name or I LOVE YOU or something from your creative genius), does he go to church you can get him a tie pin, you can get him a hat, a trophy, treat him to a night out, many things...try to capitalize on what he really loves. Use your creative genius!

If you have the money send him to a basketball fantasy camp. He could meet some real (retired) NBA stars and play with them.
