it depends on how big the songs are. i doube there is even a usb memory stick out there that can hold that many songs. i would figure 49,999 songs would require at least several gigabytes.

It depends on the quality of songs that you download. I typically download 192kbs, and my library averages about 3.39MB per song. 3.39MB*49,999=169496.61MB, which is 170GB.
I don't think that there would be enough time in the year to listen to all of them.

That would be ~150 GB if you mean high-quality MP3s.
No memory sticks are that large at the moment.
You would be lucky to get 2.5" (laptop) external HD of this capacity.

Take average song file size. Multiply it with 49999 and you get a figure. 1GB = 1000 MB so you divide your final figure with 1000 the answer is the GB you want to buy.

if you are storeig vedio songs, then 5 GB is required on creative usb that had builting player.
if you are storeig audio songs, then 1 GB is required on creative usb that had builting player.
you may also get other brands as well, i used creative and its specification says it does the job.
Good Luck

depending on the quality of the song. just highlight what you want to copy and right click to see the size. you will see the actual size. no confusion. hope that helps.
