Zoloft? Paxil, Valium, Xanex, Prozac, Buspar, Klonapin. Seriously- which one is best? Do any of them work?

I have anxiety and take Xanax when I believe the anxiety will be too much for me to handle. I force myself to face my anxiety because i don't want to depend on a drug and xanax is highly additive. So i treat the drug with respect so to speak. I was on Paxil and it worked very well besides the side effect of weight gain. Once i stopped taking Paxil the weight came off. I didn't have to do anything to lose the weight besides stop taking the pill. By the time i stopped taking the pill i made great strides in therapy to get through my depression and now work on the anxiety. I had a bad side effects with Zoloft. Each persons body chemistry is different so it is a good idea to find one that works best for the individual. I also recommend working with a therapist, if at all possible, combined with medication. When taking medication alone i believe it doesn't fix the problem it just masks it.

I've tried zoloft, xanex, and paxil! They were all prescribed by my DR.,but none of those worked for me until he gave me a script for klonapin, and after 2-3 days they really worked best for me ,and i have been prescibed them for 2 1/2 yrs now. They relax me and keep my anxiety down both day and night!the reason they work so well is there time released and similar to a valium.

Paxil and Celexa makes you gain weight. Soloft is ok, but can dim your memory alittle. Never tried Wellbutrim, but I heard it doesn't affect the sexual drive as much as others. Prozac flattens the emotions. Effexsor is the best and strongest because it works on serpentine, and two other things. Birth control pill helps regulated the mood swings a little, unless you smoke. Celexbra just came out, so I don't know that one. Happy pilling!

Lexapro was best thing to for me. They had to up my dose after a month but otherwise it was great and had very little side effects. Took Klonopin for about two months. Couldn't take it in the daytime because it knocked me out. I used it for a sleeping pill before my NP took me off it.

I take Zoloft. I have really bad panic/anxiety attacks. It has really helped me. Also, when I'm having a really bad attack, I take Atavan. It works extremely well.

Look, just smoke a doobie, and lay naked in the grass. It's the best therapy, it really is.
