I'm a public school band director from Georgia...here's your answer:
At private schools, teachers are more relaxed because they have less troublesome students. There are virtually no fights are problems of this kind, because parents are PAYING to have their kids go to private school. Therefore, more work gets done each day. I used to teach at a private middle school by the way.
At public schools, you have your good kids, your bad kids.....ones that do what they're supposed to and the ones that get in trouble every week. Also, the public schools have to abide by many many many many state regulations or people can lose their jobs. This is a very basic answer but its one you can easily understand. Schools need more days to handle these kind of things, and also because its harder to educate and entire class to specifications because of the new "No Child Left Behind" Act of 2001. Ask a teacher about that.
I could answer further but I don't want to bore you. There's your basic answer. Hope this helps!

I think it's very unfair. Why should students who pay the extra money to go to a private school get LESS education than their public school counterparts? Those private schools are ripping off the students!! Every day in school is a gift to your brain that can never be taken away. It's not fair that you get more in a public school than you get in a private, tuition-pay school. I guess the parents are afraid their kids couldn't take in that much richness.

i went to a private school. there are less students in a room and therefore the teacher can pay more attention to each student. Also the brothers and sisters are very strick in the studies.

Nope. I think all children should go to school year-round and not have the long break in the summer. It upsets the learning curve, costs a lot of money, and when the kids get bored...causes a lot of trouble.
