My heart bleeds to hear stories such as this. No one should be beaten like a dog. Not even the dog should be beaten. Dad needs a reality check, give a few apologies and a pychiatric evaluation. And No, I have never been whipped with a fishing rod, and neither have my four children.

Okay, from what I am reading you are lying about something. but, if your not then I'm sorry, I have never been whipped with a fishing rod. If you are being abused you really need to report him. Or you and that poor dog are just going to keep getting it. . .

Yes and that hurts like a mother. My stepmom used to use yardsticks, hotwheel tracks, flyswatters, and broom handles.
