God says that 10% is his. If you don't give him 10% you are stealing from God. He will take his 10% in another form.

Tithing or giving 10% to God has nothing to do with what your pastor is driving. It is commanded in Scripture that you give this to whoever is spiritually feeding you. If he is not feeding you, then you need to find someone who will and tithe to them. This is honoring to God. I would not dream of not tithing. My income has more than doubled over the past few years and I know this is directly linked to tithing. Read Malachi 3...

To tithe is not a payment...it is a gift to God...He does not want you to give grudgingly, but to give cheerfully...if you don't give willingly---then DON'T GIVE...tithing is 10% of all that you have received...every good thing comes FROM GOD so you are really just giving back...it's an act of FAITH...cause when you do tithe---on the regular---God will "pour you out a blessing, that you will not be able to receive it"...in other words, he's gonna bless you abundantly above all that you can even imagine...10%...that's a small gift to give to an Almighty God...and YES, YES YES...I tithe and I am BLESSED.

Well, the Bible says to give the first fruits of your labor to the Lord. not tithing will not make you go to hell, but it will certainly keep the blessings of God away from you. I know because at one time I didn't tithe. Now I do and I WOULD NOT STOP paying tithe ever again.

tithe is not required at any christian church, it is frowned upon because you are expected to pay for the FREE services that god gave you, now if you paid dues it would be a cult so donation is a nicer word, however the will tell you "What you Reap what You Sow"
You sow nothing you get nothing, you sow 10% you also get nothing
Anyway that's in the OT and Jesus said that was no longer required, because to the Christians the OT is onlyy the history of Jesus, therefore it now onl a parable

I would be more likely to tithe if I wasn't already obligated to give the first 25% or so of my income to the government.

YES I DO PAY TITHES,SO SHOULD YOU AND EVERY ONE ELSE."GOD COMMANDED IT" READ MALACHI 3:8-18. TITHES ARE FOR THE SUPPORT OF GOD'S MINISTRY, NOT FOR THE PASTOR TO BUY A LEXUS. IF WE TAKE CARE OF GOD'S BUSINESS THEN HE WILL TAKE CARE OF OUR NEEDS.

Your minister is a pedophile. If you do not pay tithe, his verklempt sexual feelings will be taken out on a young unsuspecting boy. So please either beat up the pole smoking ministers or pay tithe!
