My girlfriend is constantly burping in restaurants, what can I say to tell her nicely that I think it's rude?

I'm a girl THEREFORE I should know how to be a lady. if she doesnt give a crap then you have the right to tell her: Dont want to be rude but I think is not proper when you burp in front of me or with people around. if you two dont have that connection then where's the trust? you cant hurt her feelings because you are not breaking up with her, just make her understand that she can look so much better if she didnt do that. or tell her a story of how a friend of yours had this gf who was so ew and that even if your friend loved her he had to break up with her because she was so tomboy!

Haha and u are still with her? j/k There is no "nice" way to tell her. Just be honest. Tell her its gross and its definately not lady like. I mean...use yourself as an example. Your a dude and dudes always burp. (she will probably throw that in ur face.) But again, use yourself as an example...tell her that your a guy and you can keep your noxious gasses tamed in public places, she should be able to do the same. Oh, and if she cant help it cause its like a legitimate problem then just tell her that tumms or beano will do the trick. :)

If she's your girlfriend, and her behavior offends you, you should not have to tell her nicely. Just be polite. Say, "I'm very offended when you constantly burp in public, and I would like you to stop." If she refuses, she is not respecting you and the relationship is doomed.

Personally I'd laugh really loud and be abnoxious, call even more attention to her burping... take a stab at guessing at what she ate last and say something about how your fat greasy uncle Jim-Bob can't even burp that loud. *lol*

Why is it rude? I understand your concern, but that is the most natural thing to happen after you've eaten. What she can maybe do, is try to control the force with which it comes out, although that's not always so easy. Sometimes it just creeps upon you.
