I don't buy the saying that he has always been. Everything has a beginning.

Are you referring to the human concept or something else like the existence of all matter? The answer would elude those who did not know who or what he really is. It would be impossible to find the needle in the hay stack when what we seek is not a needle but possibly another hay strand.

Everything we know here on earth has a begining and an end and is a slave to time, God however is not from this world nor is He governed by time. This is a very difficult concept to grasp but I assure you its the truth.

God wasn't born with a mother and father like you and I were. The creator is much more advanced than the creation, He is eternal and has always existed. The bible says that one day for God is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day.

I believe that God IS the beginning. He is a paradox
How is it possible to HAVE beginning, if He Himself IS the beginning?
He is the beginning, the source of everything. This includes Space and Time
Therefore He exists outside both Space and Time

In a way, God is an immigrant. He carries no ID, doesn't have a SSN, dresses differently that the rest of us, and (some say) he has a distinct accent. He's a smart immigrant though and knows that if he comes forward and tells us where he came from, the INS will surely deport him right back to his old digs, then throw up a fence to make sure he don't sneak in again. At least that's my take on your question.

God did tell us where he came from. God is omnipresent. That means he is everywhere at all times. He came from nowhere because he has always been everywhere. He said he is the alpha and the omega. That means he has no beginning and no end. I know that concept is past human understanding because we can only see in limited ways. But that is what God said, and either you believe it or you don't.

That's right! Everything has a beginning. However, since God created time so he can exist at all times. Even better than time travel....

Incorrect. God has no beginning.
If you would take the time to study physics, you would understand that in order for "beginning" to happen there has to be an uncaused cause that precedes it.
Since God has no beginning or ending then He is the one that caused all that there is to be created. In other words, you cannot traverse eternity and there cannot be something that has preceded God.

Everything? How do you know? Our limited human consciousness cannot begin to understand the vastness that is God.

there will be lots of answers on here: god has always existed, he created us. you're right, as far as we know everything has a beginning, and if that's true then what god tells us, that he has always existed is not true. which makes god a big fat liar.
