I agree with BDW when he states "There is nothing that used to be a sin and Jesus decided that it would no longer be a sin... That is not biblical " It is scriptural to say that Jesus (Yeshua) Fulfilled the Law. He did this by obeying every Maosaic Law in "The Law" The Torah Per the Jewish Faith. Jesus was and IS a Jew. G_D says that he is the same yesterday, today and forever. This was written OVER 2006 years ago. To say that Jesus did away with the Law or that the Law was nailed to the Cross with Christ is a Non Sequiter. It is true that Gentiles (Non Jews) are not bound to Mosaic law (Read Acts of the Apostles) but they ARE bound to the Noahide Laws. (Read Genesis). Jews on the other hand have Many MORE laws to follow Well over 200!
these are found in the Tanak (The Old Testament ) We are all Still bound to these essential Truths Again Jesus FULFILLED the law. He did not DO AWAY with it.

Many of those "sins" are not entirely sins at all. They are rules for the people of Israel to follow because they were to represent the perfect holiness and righteousness of God to other nations. They were set for the Isrealites and the Isrealites only essentially as laws, like we have here in the United States and as other countries have. They (along with the Ten Commandments) where also to show people, Isrealites or not, that no matter how hard you try to follow the rules set by God, in order to go to heaven(and more importantly to just be WITH God), you cannot reach them because we are a sinfull people. As for Jesus doing away with the law, the verse from Romans 10 shouldn't be read out of context (I could find alot of verses in the Bible that would seem contradictory if I didn't read everything befor them and after them). It previously was reffering to the Old Testament Isrealites that were living in the time of Jesus. They were following the old testament rules and ignoring what was important about them. To honor, glorify, and obey God. Also the law that was being refered to was not the same kind of law. It was both the Prophecies about Christ and the Ten Commandments. So then does that mean Jesus did away with the Ten Commandments? No, the term "End" in the greek context was meant to be taken as "Fulfillment". Which means that Jesus was the only person who could both Fulfill the prophcies and also keep the Ten Commandments (Matthew 5:17-20). What Jesus was doing was showing that only he could ever be good enough to enter heaven and that the only way to get to heaven would be to believe, trust, and follow him. In the old testament the only way to remove sin was to make a sacrafice of a innocent lamb. This represented the punishment for our sins being placed on the lamb instead of the person, so that the persons sin would be removed. These sacrafices had to be done for every sin though, and it would be impossible to do that since we sin so much. Jesus said that through his death on the cross he was the One sacrafice for all. This was true because he was spiritually perfect (he kept the Ten Commandments) and he is also God(as well as fulfilling all the old testament prophecies). So when he died on the cross he was removing the sins of everyone who accepts what he did for us and who follows what he taught. He was then ressurected 3 days later to prove that he was God and that all he was saying was true.

If you read the bible... instead of taking a verse here or there, you will see that no man can obey the law... It is there so we can see we are sinners. Without the law, we would not how great of sinners we are. There is nothing that used to be a sin and Jesus decided that it would no longer be a sin... That is not biblical

True christians don't focus on any one sin and ignore others. I tell you we are so busy trying to keep ourselves right with the Lord, we really don't have time to go around judging everyone else! It is a moment by moment focus on listening to Him and loving people. This is what true Christianity is.
