Serious question how do we know Zeus is not God; since Zeus is a god himself.
To answer the obvious follow up post: to the Ancient Greeks Zeus was a god not a figure in 'mythology', and very real.

God of course. Zeus can only throw some stupid thunderbolts and marry his sister.
God on the other hand made thunderbolts and the humans that created Zeus.
