I think that all cultures have people who are contented and satisfied with their lives. Take us in Jamaica for example, people think that every day we are killing off each other but that is not entirely the case. Yes, we do have many problems and poverty and crime are significant factors, but many people I know are quite happy and satisfied with their lives. I know that for many this sense of peace comes from their religious beliefs and their families and Friends. I have always thought though that the Japanese seem quite contented. Don't know why maybe because they seem to rarely shout. I also think that many people living in third world countries like Haiti and Sudan are not quite satisfied with their lives because they lack the necessary resources to enjoy a well balanced and happy life
