When i was much younger than i am now i was taken to get my tarot cards read
it predicted i would have an accident
and from that day onwards i was nearly killed in a near miss on the road because i was crossing and the car was going too fast and didn't even see that the car in front had stopped to let me cross at a pedestrian crossing.
i was knocked out in PE doing the high jump of all things
all that for starters and i had almost never had anything like that happen to me before i had my tarot cards read
my advice would be - don't go there
you are better off NOT getting involved with tarot cards or anything else occultic as the very word means 'hidden' which implies that what you see isn't necessarily what you get.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pictorial_Key_to_the_Tarot
This is a link to a wiki entry about The Pictorial Key to the Tarot. It is a guide to Tarot symbolism, published in England in 1910 in conjunction with the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. This deck is sometimes called the Rider Tarot. The link to the HTML pictorial text is at the bottom of the entry.
The tarot isn't evil. It is a tool. Tools are neither good or bad unless they aren't well crafted.
The tarot is basically 78 cards decorated in symbols. By learning how to interpret the symbols or using your own intuition to interpret them, you can see what direction you are going in. It doesn't necessarily predict the future.
The fear some people have about the tarot, thinking it will lead to Satan and evil, shows a lot about their personal psychology.
Spirits are always around us. Sometimes they are in human bodies! Seriously though. The tarot is a lot like inkblot cards. What you see in them tells a lot about the diviner's philosophies and current state of mind. Much like images in a dream.
The beautiful designs in tarot pull from images and patterns that are part of the human experience.
I have worked with the Rider and Thoth Tarot decks for almost eight years. I have had tragedies and glorious moments of bliss in that time. I don't blame the tarot. Life is full of unexpected events. But by studying the tarot, I've learned more about paths I can take and understand myself more clearly.

Stay away from Tarot Cards and any other witchcraft practice:

A woman tried to contact the supernatural and got burned while doing it.
Thats what happens when you play with fire. Go to God for all your needs.
