ditto to that. you may have to pay to get someone in your house to look for mold. (sometimes its under old flooring or in the attick or undeneth tile in the bathroom) this may be contributing to you having mold sickness!
Fix leaks and seepage, even if it involves landscaping around basements.
Put plastic over dirt in crawlspaces and keep them well ventilated.
Use exhaust fans in kitchen and bathroom.
Turn off humidifiers if you see condensation on windows.
Use dehumidifiers and air conditioners, especially in hot, humid climates.
Pay special attention to carpet on concrete floors. Use area rugs that can be lifted and washed. Or install a vapor barrier over the concrete.
also see a doc right away!

Hi, if you allergic to household mold, there is much that you will need to do. This is because mold will grow in your bedroom, kitchen and especially in the bathrooms and toilets.
You will need expert advice on how you can minimise this in your home. Ask your family doctor on this issue, or if unable, for reference to a specialist.
Some initial steps you can take is to have your home aired frequently. Keep your kitchen and bathrooms and toilets as dry as possible. Not to keep soiled clothing around too long. And invest in aircondition system that is an ioniser and anti-bacterial air filter. Even an air cleaner with HEPA filter would help in your case.
Try to do this while seeking advice.

This is a very serious condition and I don't believe you can heal yourself. Please see a doctor as soon as possible. There were two major floods in my area causing a lot of household mold sickness. I know a lady who has to be on oxygen 24/7 because of this household mold sickness. Please don't try to cure yourself, but go to a health professional. All the best!

wow, sorry to hear about that, i use an air purifier. from sharper image, it works aw some, it's expensive but money well spent. also call a carpet cleaning company and see if they can clean the carpets or pull up the carpet in a corner to see if there is mold if you don't have carpet then, call maids to come and clean your place from top to bottom , they even clean walls. and see how you feel then,, i really don't like to take allergy med's cuz you might get problems in the future

my wife had it too...we had a lot of mold in the house when we bought it....kinda discovered it in the walls to late, and under floor tiles...anyway we went to a holistic doctor since many regular doctors believe in suppressing rather than curing. he prescribed undecenoic acid (derived from castor bean oil) the product was called "Formula SF 722" made by thorne research
it worked and the benefit is it's natural so there are no nasty side effects
i wish you good health

i had mold growing in the walls of the master bath and around the bedroom window. had to remodel the bath and replace the window sill. the problem was moisture getting into the walls. remodeling the bath sealed the walls and putting a ceiling fan in the bedroom helped circulate the air so moisture didn't form on the window in winter.

best advice would be to talk w/your doctor and he may possibly refer you to an allergy specialist. also, look into getting your air ducts cleaned and even your carpets. you'd be amazed at how much crap collects there.
