yes i have. and what i had to do because felt like i was suffering from job burnout is take a step back and take a little time off and be selfish and do things i've missing out on. you will feel so much better about your job life in general if you do that. and not to mention feel like you are making a difference!!!

you should find a balance. you have done things all your life so far. it is only now that you are working. actually working to earn. being busy is very good. you get good sleep. you just need to give yourself that extra bit of attention with regards to food and some relaxation (small dozes) and you will be alright. you are right that your life is focussed on the routine, thats how it should be. it shall help you grow in your work and up the ladder you will find you would certainly have scope for less work and more time. your freedom is what you need to understand. the physical freedom is different from the mental freedom. with lots of hard work for weeks, a small holiday of two days may also recharge you completely provided it is well thought out. think over it again.

I feel depressed. I always have work to do and Im never able to do anything. Projects and regular school work. Even my friends have stopped inviting me to places or parties because they know Im always too busy to go out to any place. Sometimes I feel like I hate my life caus of that. My Life sucks. I wish I had more time. So much to do so little time.

In the old days, I could empathize, but I'm retired now, thank the Lord. I had a great job with lots of rewards, but during the last year or so the grind just got to me and I was fortunate enough to have the option of retiring. Suggestion: weigh the pros and cons. If this job is your dream, then you're lucky. If it isn't your dream, have faith in yourself and give up this job and follow your dream. My son called it, "Jumping off the cliff" when he decided to start his own business, and he's not been sorry.

Yep, I think that is a trap most of us are caught in. It isn't fun. Maybe keep your eyes on the want ads for a better and less stressful job. I recently quit a job as they always gave me about 10 hours of work to do in 8 hours and if I could get it done, then they gave me more.....I was losing my health and sanity.

Yes, but I'm getting ready to retire.
