this lady at the mall that was selling these really expensive hair straightners curled my hair with it. don't believe anyone that says u can't curl your hair with a straightner. i tried it with MY straightner when i got home. i wasn't very good at it though.
you grab a piece of hair, clamp it into the straightner and start at the top, pull it down and then wrap it like u would with a curling iron, hold for like a second or two, pull it down some more like 2-3 inches (it may be difficult to pull down since it's wrapped around) and then wrap it again like u would with a curling iron and then when u get to around 2 inches or so to the tips just pull it straight down real quick. at least from what i remember. it was real quick when the lady did it to my hair. it may tug a bit, because that's what the lady at the mall did to my hair. it takes practice, but it's also a LOT of heat to your hair. i'm not gonna try that again myself, unless the lady at the mall does it for me. LOL good luck!

GAH! Ok, all the people that just gave you crap REALLY pissed me off. There IS a way to curl your hair with a straigtener. I'm not really good at it but it can be done...hello people, it has HEAT that's all a curling iron has. You're not dumb, they are.
OK, first you need to make sure that you have on that has that velvety stuff on the outside of it. Then all you do is put the end of your hair into the straightener and then pull it up and wrap it around like you would a curling iron. Like I said, I'm not very good at it. It takes practice and the curls you get from it are more subtle too. But that should do the trick. Also, you have to hold the hair around the straightener longer because the heat is less intense outside of the straightener, if that makes sense. Good luck!

Just like a curling iron, only you use it on the ends. The shape is more for streightening though. you can also streighten hair with a CURLing Iron too! I have done it many times!

Well, it's called a "straightener" for a reason. I would advise a curling iron.
