i gave my birdy away to move to a new state and i miss her desperately i want her back how can i cope wit this?

Ask the owner if you could maybe take the bird back? What kind is it? If it's a small bird with a relatively short life span of around >10 years than leave it be and get a new one that you like. If not, then ask for it back and see what happens. Good luck.

I WOULD DO LIKE ANKUR M SUGGESTED. IF YOU HAVE YOU HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER OR ADDRESS OF THE PERSON YOU GAVE THE BIRD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THAT PERSON AND TELL THEM HOW MUCH YOU MISS THAT BIRD AND WOULD LIKE IT BACK. IF THE BIRD YOU HAD WAS YOUNG AND YOU ONLY HAD IT FOR A FEW MONTHS THEN I SAY GET A NEW ONE. IF YOU HAD IT FOR A YEAR OR MORE THEN I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TRY TO GET IT BACK EVEN IF IT IS OLD AND READY TO DIE. I MEAN, COME ON MAN, THAT WAS YOUR FRIEND, YOUR BUDDY. IF YOU CAN;T GET IT BACK THEN I SUGGEST LIKE MOST OF THE YAHOO PEOPLE TO MOVE ON AND GET A NEW BIRD. I HAD A PARAKEET FOR 18 YEARS AND HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND. WHEN HE DIED, I REALLY CRIED FOR DAYS. I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO MISS A BIRD. I WISH YOU LUCK IN GETTING THE BIRD BACK.

DONT GO TO PETCO! I can tell you sooo many horror stories!
When you are ready to get a new bird, go to a reputable breeder. I would get a different species of bird--when my cockatiel died after 10 years i couldn't stand the thought of having another one, so I got a sun conure.

I would go to PET CO and get you a new bird I went there today and they have some beautiful birds I hope this helps you mabey you'll be happy...

I am bird crazy so if it was me, I would try to get it back if you have the contact number, address of the new owner.
