I'm not sure. I don't think it matters. He could have made us with three eyes, but does it matter? We would still be the same, live the same, because we wouldn't know any different

God created Heaven and Earth first. Then Day and Night. Then Land and Water. he created everything from the birds to the mammals underwater to the animals on land befor he created Adam, the first man on earth. he noticed that the animals needed someone to be around them so that is why he created man on earth and not underwater.
but we shouldnt question Gods creation. he created the way he wanted. he wanted a man to look like his image so im sure he was not a fish, he was a human. that is why he didnt put us underwater. he wanted man to be an image of Him. he was human and not fish. get it?

He created us to live on land because he created humans to "watch over all of the other animals and all of the earth." Humans would not have been able to watch over the land animals if they lived in the sea, however we as humans of land can watch over the land animals by going into the water

Who said there isn't life under water. Where do you think the stories of the Selkies, merfolk, and such came from? Have we truely explored the depths of the oceans? The Mariana Trench is deeper than the grand canyon and is completely inaccessable by any mechanical means. Life has been found in the deep dark depths that we can traverse and it is wonderful. Who says that they have to have a physical form as well. Our souls in habit the shell we call a body, it is not attatched to it.

Just a thought.

God created man in His image. Which means that we are like him. Whether it be physical or otherwise, we are like God. That's what I know. But what I don't know is whether He breathes, eats, etc. just like us. I assume that is related to your question. And after reading my own answer and your question again, I realize I really don't know. All I know is that He created us to be like Him, so He must live on some land somewhere in the Heavens.

Why? Would you like to live underwater?

You know, if he made us underwater, you would then have asked why God made us underwater and not on land.

Consider it a blessing. For God made man to be the ones who are the caretakers of the land and all animals.
Genesis 1:21-22,26
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Open your Bible and start to read it. It has all the answers to your questions, but you have to be willing to study it for yourself.

Because He's God, and We aren't.
"Have you entered the storehouses of the snow?" That comes from the book of Job, 38:22 That whole chapter means: Who are WE to question HIM?
