It's more fun this way. I get to stir the pot =p
I suppose they could put in sub-catergories for those who want to be antisocial. But where's the fun in that?

I think they should make an "Atheist" section. That way they can talk amongst themselves and stay out of the religion category that they don't even recognize in the first place. What's up with that? I mean I enjoy an occasional flippant response, but they should have their own category.

Maybe so we can all learn from each other what our beliefs are and how to accept and respect all different points of view that the others have, and perhaps to define our own beliefs clearly and articulately so that others can know what it is we believe. I'd rather see us out here duking it out with words, than on a battlefield somewhere trying to kill each other. Words can hurt others, and in knowing that, thats why we all need to be respectful of others in both our questions and answers. Respect the dignity of all others regardless of what they believe in.

Because they are being politically correct. There are many religions that aren't widely recognized and if you start naming some and not all, someone will be offended.

Does it really matter??????? It's not like they called it "Catholic" and lumped all religious questions (questions about Hindus or Jews). It's time we got away from being way too politically correct and learn to be more tolerant of each other.

It's better because that way you get a bigger view and knowledge on what other religon's are about and try to correct them if there wrong.
