i buy and drink bottled water, of course it never sits around for more than a couple weeks but 2day i noticed an expiration date for next year.

all food items have to have an expiration date its the law.

It doesn't expire. As it ages, the label on the bottle fades, and the bottle collects dust. The bottles have an expiration date so store clerks will put the oldest ones in the front. This keeps the product looking it's best.

The oxygen content probably lessens with time changing its taste. It's just a guess buy there are many products that unnecessarily have an expiration date. I think its just so you throw it out and BUY a new one.

It doesn't "expire". But all food products must be dated, as previously noted. Many people keep water for many years (like in emergency shelters) and it's fine.

if you opened it then the air will ruin the freshness and stuff but if you havent i think if there is minerlas in it those begin to exprire and cause the water to also. It might even affect the plastic bottle

the plastic of the bottle will start 2 change the taste of the water.----Yuck!

just like beer has a born on date. Just another way to get people to rotate stock in there warehouses and on there shelfs

it picks up a plastic taste after so long in the bottle.
