But there are 3 things even God can't do. Do you know what they are? Think about it, and try to give serious answers.

I read some very good answers. Quiet a few of you said God cannot lie. That's what the Bible says, that God is the essence of truth. Another thing God can't do is learn, He's omniscient, knowing the end from the beginning. I find that good, because there's nothing I can do to surprise God, and thereby jepordize my salvation. One last thing God can't do is make us love Him. He gave us the free will to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. I think that covers it. This question was asked to upset anyone, but to make us think.

Yada yada.... same old thing...

if God is all powerful then could He create a mountain so heavy tht even He couldn't hold it?

PARADOX!

CLEVERNESS!

Oh you witty human! You are just too much for God. Poof! He vanishes from this well put negation of His existence.

And I'm being as serious as your question allows. It is essentially a well thought out nonsensical paradox that the meager mind finds binding and even funny. However, the mere assertion that God is all powerful means that any paradox that you come up with He can overcome.

You can't understand how, but that is because you are you and He is God (all powerful).

The true paradox lies is trying to create a paradox surrounding an all powerful being.

I'm serious. That is my answer. It is ridiculous to propose you have 3 things God can't accomplish. You feel you need to understand how He can be all powerful before you say He is.

I tell you that is folly because you can't comprehend it until you accept it.

Do You REALLY think that a God, THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, could create everything, from the stars, sky, moons, earth, all creatures great and small, and especially the HUMAN (which is the most fasinating creation of all) could not do ALL things??? There is "nothing" that God cannot do! So if you believe otherwise, you are being deceived.

I was kickin it with God just yesterday. He said one of the things he could not do is prove he exists. Ain't that a trip. Also he won't fly any more, had a bad experience aboard a pan-am flight in the 80's, and he said he will never send his children to be baby sat on earth again. Just look what you all did to his son.

The only thing that God cannot do is to not be. Otherwise, God can be, do and have anything that God wants.

He cannot maintain perfect, righteous character in someone. If He did he'd have a robot. A robot can't have character!
