He probably already has teeth at 6 months of age. However, he may be getting his back teeth, better known as molars. They can be very painful for a little one, sometimes causing temperatures, diaper rash and runny nose.

If you ever remember your wisdom teeth coming in, you will have a heart for a baby cutting teeth. Give him/her Children's Tylenol, purchase some teething rings that you can keep cool in the frige and wash in the dishwasher. Cold objects that they can chew seems to soothe their gums. There are also some gum numbing products on the market that will help as well.

If your child is pulling at his ears, he may have an ear infection, in which case you will want to get him/her to a doctor ASAP.

Good luck... rock him or her and just try to understand. Cutting teeth or having an ear infection can be a very painful time for the little one.

Very available however that first little chomper would no longer damage by skill of for weeks or months yet :o) If he's extremely fussy attempt toddler Tylenol and Anbesol. A face fabric dampened with chilly water is an considerable for my toddler at the same time as he's teething; he would not like the teething rings because they're too problematical on his sore little gums top till now a tooth looks.

He very well could be. Feel his gums and see if there are any bulges in his gums. When teething starts to become painful, the teeth are about to break through and you should be able to feel them. If he is not teething, he could be gassy or constipated. Or just fussy. Babies do not know how to communicate other than crying. Maybe he is not feeling too well. Check his temperature and just watch him. If he is teething, maybe give him a teething ring, or cold face cloth, or even just give him some Tylenol.
