I can tell you that I personally lost 65lbs in 6 months. Let me tell you what I did. I walked twice a day for a half an hour on a treadmill. I also studied up on diet and found out that if you eat whole grains (that is when it says made from 100% whole grain) that your body feels fuller and also it makes your body burn more calories trying to brake down the whole grains then the processed grains. Make sure you eat breakfast and try not to eat late at night. Also I big thing is if you drink allot of soda .....STOP.
Water, water, water. I did not like water before but once I got used to it I now love it. Hope this will help you. I know very well what it is like to want to change but hard to keep motivated. Write down what you eat also helps. And grab a friend to be your sponsor.

Goodness, I don't think you were complaining. Anyway, I think your goal is reachable with a lot of hard work. Use the calculators provided free by many diet web sites(sorry don't remember site names right now) to figure out how many calories you need to cut down and/or how many you can burn with certain physical activity. They will usually spell it all out for you ie: how much excercise and how many calories per day. Then find a gym, a calorie counter , also free on web see: nutrition, keep a journal, keep body measurements as well as pounds. Mostly you have to really want to succeed. Good Luck

Does it have to be 45 lbs. or do you just want to look hot in a dress?
Start by running your a$$ off, literally. Buy some running shoes, and head for thin-town.
It takes alot of dedication, but it quickly becomes a way of life that you have to have for yourself.
Why are you 45b lbs. overweight? Did you just have a baby?
Whatever the answer is, take a good, solid look in the mirror. Do you like what you see looking back? If so, leave it alone. If not, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!! You are stronger than it is!!!! Don't keep complaining about it, Be that woman that looks and feels great.

There's only one way to lose weight & keep it off - sensible diet & exercise. If you just diet, your body's metabolism will adjust to whatever you're eating & any weight you lost will come back. If you eat smart (no fast foods, stay away from pastas, etc), and get into a good exercise routine, you can lose weight and keep it off. Instead of candies & chips, try fruits & veggies. Good luck!

Without starving I would say try to do like Richard Simons and psych yourself into being hyper. Get up, get away from the computer and TV, get excited and get active.
