I was once hit by two other players on a soccer field while trying to block a goal shot in high school. I have vivid recollection of the event and the 30 minutes or so afterward when I could not remember where I was, how I'd got there or even my name. It was like an out-of-body experience because, while I had grasp of my more permanent memories (my parents, siblings, where I lived, etc.) my memory of more ephemeral things was gone, and yet I was cognizant of the void. Most of my friends thought I was faking because of the absurdity of my repeated questions. It was the strangest mental experience of my life. All of my memory returned after about an hour, and I still recall the event is shocking detail, though it happened more than 30 years ago.

Yes, I fell and hit my head on ice. Thought I was ok because there was no blood when I fell, but I ended up having a hemorrhage in my brain and had to have brain surgery. This is what's called a "Closed Head Injury", and it's nothing to sneeze at.
I didn't remember anything for 2 and a half months. After my surgery I had to go to a rehab facility and learn how to walk, eat etc.. all over again. So, don't take your fall lightly, make sure to get checked out, ASAP!! Sometimes it can take up to 2 weeks for hemorrhages to appear so that the doctors can see them.
Good Luck!!

I have lost memory quite a few times for short periods. Sometimes longer like 2 or 3 weeks. They have all been related to seizures due to epilepsy. It's a scary thing to wake up in a hospital not knowing how you got there. When I wake up I realize why I'm there now because I've had epilepsy for 25 years. Once I called my ex wife Mom and my kids by my brother's and sister's names. I can laugh about it now but it's not funny.

Yes. I felt like I didn't know who I was. I didn't know all of the people that came to visit me. I didn't know anything, except that I was in pain and knew I used to not be in so much pain. It all came back slowly.
I still have amnesia (anterograde - poor short term memory - like 50 First Dates) and I think your scooter amnesia doesn't really compare. But, you got a taste of what I face every day.

During any accident, the blood suddenly rushes to the brain, and causes a temporary memory loss. Its more like seeing the accident happening in a real slow motion, Its a temporary thing.
Nothing to worry if you are not physically hurt on the head.
In case of any injury on the head, however minor it may seem to you, please have a checkup with a neurololist, to over rule any
damage inside the brain..

Yes,but it is usually during a stressful time when iI am trying to do more than one thing at a time. I may forget where I put my keys or misplace something of value aspecially money. The funniest but not laughable experience is looking for my eyeglasses while I am wearing them!Sometimes, the glasses are so close and I cannot see them. When I find them I ask myself why I was unable to see them or remember. At times, I think it is more than age.

Actually yes and it was a really bad experience. Someone slipped me a drug in my drink one time and I was...well, let's just say...taken advantage of. There were witnesses but they didn't do anything about it. But I don't remember what happened b/c I passed out. I woke up the next morning with half of my clothes off and no memory of how it happened.
But please don't worry. I'm okay now!

You could have had a concussion. If you don't feel back to normal in a day or 2 you should see your doctor.
