for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car.

Think before you continue reading. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

let the old friend take the old lady to the hosp. in your car , that way you get to be alone with the bombshell and your the hero too

This is not a practical question. In reality, the guy who saved my annoying *** would undoubtedly have already called 911 for the old lady or would implore me to take her. But it is very unlikely could take only one. I'd probably take the old friend and the dying lady and he can keep her stable in the back seat. While he's getting her in the car I drop my business card near the hot girl, because she'll think I'm swell for doing this and hopefully call me.

Companies want multitaskers.

But seriously, on the hierarchy of morality the priority should be

1)Save old lady's life (life at its basic, someone who isn't living can't experience life. There is no second chance)

2)Pay back old friend (since its not the last time you could possibly be seeing him, your karmic debt for him saving you could be paid later or be considered paid by helping the old lady)

3)Meet the girl of your dreams (just hope the universe sends you another girl of your dreams for being so kind)

this is a very good question? I'm guessing I would not have to drive the car so why not give the car key to the old friend to take the old lady to hospital, ( he has saved my life we can trust him with the lady's) and besides that leaves me at the bus station with the girl of my dreams.

the old friend. i don't pick up strangers in my car. that old lady could be faking and kill me, or she could not realaly be an old lady at all. in these times you can never be too careful. In all honesty, I'd pick up my friend, ask he or she if the old lady was okay, if he said no, i'd call 911. And the perfect dream lover is completely out of the running. My friends come first.

I would offer the car to my old friend and ask him to take the old lady to where she needs to be. I would then sit in the rain with the perfect (no one is perfect but . . .) friend. Having a friend who saved my life, I know they would return the car. The Beginning . . .

definitely agree with joegossum, this way you get everything... unless in the worst senarium ever your old friend has become a thief and serial killer, dumps the old lady somewhere and steals the car. What is more noone ever picks you and the dream guy/ girl from the bus stop and you both end up with pneumonia. and the guy/ girl blames you that he/she ended up in hospital. Nice huh!

I don't know the old lady, she's probably not close to dying, why would she be taking the bus then?
