I'm eclectic and I understand the anger some people feel against those who don't take their belief seriously, but don't you find the term a bit degrading and doesn't it make us sound arrogant which is the same way other religions act. I thought paganism was a more inclusive belief. Yes, I know paganism is a blanket term, I use it to not exclude. Blessed be.

While sometimes the shoe fits, I agree that the term tends to be overused. In my experience, it is most frequently overused by those who seem to have some sort of superiority complex and/or are playing "pot and kettle."
I know that quite a bit of the Pagan 101 literature out there seeks to portray the various types of Paganism as an incredibly liberal, inclusive, land of do-as-you-please, it isn't really. The reality is that some Pagans and Pagan religions are more liberal and some more conservative - just as it is the case with all religions in general.
Those books which perpetuate this horrible disinformation are really just doing the entire community a disservice - but especially for newbies who are likely to get smacked for being "fluffy" when they repeat what they just read. But unfortunately, garbage in = garbage out.
Caveat Emptor.

Yes and no, because some of us think that we are the oldest religion in the world. I am also disabled and personaly know how hutful names can be, but at the same time some people act as though they have a Right to be a bigot towards others. It is those people I use that particular term for, and few others. With respect to all sorry if I offended any one.
Blessed Be. =)

What do you mean about being a pagan? Is this some new weird religion? What is a fluffy bunny? You are not making sense.
Okay, now I know what you are talking about. NO, NO NO, I am a Christian. I do not believe as you do. I doubt if very many people do.

I've seen fluffies and dabblers give us a bad name for far too long to stay quiet about it. So many people who just want to rebel or think its trendy. They do this without studying. And are quick to cast spells no matter who they hurt in the name of their own stupidity.
We are a very inclusive belief, but not when it comes to recklessness and stupidity. We have to draw the line somewhere.

in my experience those who throw around the term "fluffy bunny" are just trying to compensate for something...or just trying too hard to fit in... hypothetically "ok i understand that you think wiccans are "fluffy" because you were denied initiation because you were not deemed a "proper person" so you went on to study satanism or tried to join the O.T.O. instead...or claim to be a 27th level magic user from the atlantean realms...whatever... you go on thinking that... it is good that you think that... because then you won't see it comming"... (the big whammy) not that any of the losers who throw about the term "fluff bunny" are worth my time or energy. but i have been known to lay the smackdown in a witch war... here is a funny thing i found on the internet... it is a "pagan flow chart" or "who looks down on whom" in the pagan community, or the pagan heirarchy...

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail
Hoppin' down the Pagan trail
Pissing off the Pagans in his way...
I had a fluffy bunny who was both eclectic and Pagan. He had taken a vow of silence so I could sleep.
..then one night on Christmas Eve Santa came to say,
Peter with your tail so white
won't you guide my soul tonight
Then how the Pagans loved him
as they shouted out with glee
Peter the hoppin' Pagan....
...you'll replace Christ's history
