For some reason I've always found that Homemade Chicken Soup helps in more ways than anything else. I start it from scratch by buying a whole chicken. If you don't feel like doing that, then my sons and their wives tell me the only other kind of chicken soup that helps them feel better is Mrs. Grasses.
On another front, if you're not allergic to anything Advil Cold and Sinus is terrific. In Michigan now, because drug addicts were breaking it down, I have to ask the Pharmacy for it. But it kept me in classes at the college this last fall. At least it helps enough to make a person functional because of the antihistimine. But if you're taking meds for anything, ask your doctor first...especially if you have high blood pressure.

Lemonade, orange juice, sprite, 7up, and lots and lots of bedrest. Not other remedy than that unless you want to pollute your body with chemicals which only decieve the sences into making you feel better.
