If you are talking about visible eczema, the answer is no. If you are talking about severe idiopathic itching in the ear canal for which neither topical steroids or any of the new eczema medicines like Elidel have helped with the itching, then try capsaicin cream. This is a hot pepper cream used to treat arthritis and other muscle pains. Apply a small amount 3X daily with your finger or a q-tip for a few days and the itching will stop. Be aware that you will feel heat the first few days you apply the capsaicin but this will stop after a few days. After a few days of regular treatment usually a once a day application will usually stop the itching from returning. The good thing is that compared to steroids there are no side effects as long as you keep the pepper cream off your lips and out of your eyes. A dermatologist taught me this treatment option. This will not cure the the condition but it sure beats having an itchy ear.

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

How can you be sure it's eczema? It could be a fungus, an allergic reaction to earplugs or earmolds or something else. I'm and audiologist and work with a group of Ear, Nose and Throat Doctors - they have a variety of ear drops or creams that they can prescribe once the condition has been properly diagnosed.

its going to be a up hill trial and error thing I'm afraid.
I've spent buku bucks trying to find the right combo of lotions and soaps.
Right now what seems to be working the best is shower 2x using Dial antibacterial..not just soap
Johnsons and Johnsons 24hour lotion....once dry anti itch cream
on my face I also use an over the counter anti fungal cream such as Lotrimin.
Good Luck

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/gUyeC
