Be funny, be honest, treat a girl right, shower her with compliments, (do not annoy someone that it is not interested in you just because you have the "hots" for that person...)
Also, be true to her. Be spontaneous! Make her feel special, beautiful and smart!

get to know her a lot. be her friend, if not her best friend. then let her know that you want to hang out with her at some point if it was okay with her, and she will give you her answer. the more time you spend with her, the more she'll like you, or depending on how old you are, love you.

Be yourself! If you're funny, emphisise that. If you're athletic, emphisise that. But don't be like "Look at me! I'm better than anyone else!" Because that will only keep girls away. And it sounds like you're pretty young, give it a few years, don't be so hasty.
