I think you have to find other things to occupy your free time. I was somewhat addicted to porn. I thought I was heavily addicted till I heard some other people's stories. "Idle hands are the devil work shop." Literally in this case. Get into sports! Basketball, football, baseball, rock climbing (I don't discriminate because your female.) Also try working out at a gym. Go out with friends. Do something anything to get your mind off sex. Video games also help. I think most of the stuff I mentioned are typically male past-times, but that is probably because we think about sex 4 times as much as women on average. Anything that works you out physically is really what you want. I will tell you why.
When we experience orgasm our body produces serotonin, adrenalin, and some dopamine. All these hormones cause the body to enter a state of physical bliss. Do you know that exercise can produce all the same hormones? Physical exertion will release the same hormones as sexual release. Just try it for a while.

Hi River Chick,
Addictions including porn are our way of trying to fill the God shaped hole in our heart that only Christ can fill. Try surrounding yourself with Christian friends. Find a few close ones you can confide in, you'd be surprised at how many of the same issues the others are dealing with. Bringing it out in the open eliminates the shame and invites accountability.
Talk to your pastor, don't be ashamed, there is nothing new or shocking that they haven't dealt with before.
Also, don't try to focus on not looking at porn, this will have the opposite effect and make you want it more. Instead keep your mind busy with other activities and/or hobbies. Of course you want to continue to read your Bible and pray. Ask God to illuminate your heart. Many times addictions are simply a symptom of deeper spiritual issues.
Hang in there and keep the faith!!

LOL the only reason that Jesus is an answer is because it makes you think of something else... You really don't need porn... You need a freaky girl... She will watch it with you and then when you two go at it.. after a while you will not want porn... You will want just her because you will relize that she is much better then any porn.. She is real.

The Bible says in the Song of Solomon to not awaken your love. Let her sleep until she is ready. Sexual desire is a part of God's design. The desire is not evil but what you do with it can be. If you express your sexuality in ways that are opposed to God's will then you are sinning. Until you find the person you are to spend the rest of your life with and until you are committed to them for the rest of your life, you must set your attention on doing God's will in other areas. Pour your whole being into doing one thing great and let the rest take care of itself. In this way you fill your mind with things that are right and good and take your attention off of what is wrong and evil. At the same time you need to get to underlying needs that make you feel like you have to please yourself. When you are in good relationships others meet your needs and please you. If you are not in this kind of relationship, you must work toward building some. If you want friends, be a friend. Set out to be the kind of person you expect your friends to be toward you.

You are right it is Jesus. Cry out to him and continue to pray until you feel the oppressing spirits leave. Confess your sin to Him and ask Him to forgive you. Yes you are doing oppressed. Speak the the spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to leave and never to return. Do not stop praying and rebuking the spirits until they are gone. Asking Jesus to help you as you pray get angry with the spirit and command the to leave as you would an unwelcome person in your home.
You must also go to a pastor and tell him what you are going through and ask him to pray for you. If the chuch has a prayer chain ask that you name be placed on the list.
Porn is bad it will kill you. But it will also kill the girls involved you are sending them to hell by viewing their pictures. you are helping satan to destroy them. you will be accountable to God some day for each and every one of them. If no one viewed those pictures then the girls would not have a reason to be there by viewing them you are helping in their destruction.

Exercise every day is a great way to burn off the energy and the chemicals that put you in that addictive state of mind. Run every day or swim for an hour.
I don't think that it's respectful to bring Jesus into this. Use some Diciprine.

Fasting and praying and reading the Word of God. I know it's cliche' but, I've struggled with it too. Just today for one. Continue to seek God ... don't give up. When you feel the urge pray or read a scripture and try to go and do something else. Surrender all your burdens to the Lord and trust in Him that He has delivered you.

It's not Jesus. Jesus teaches oppresion from your natural feelings. Do not feel guilty or ashamed of your sexuality. Learn about your body and the rest of you. Find out what you really want to fill the emptyness and then work towards it.

I too, just like you and probably almost everyone else suffers from this! You've gotta' pray and ask that God guide you/your thoughts away from this.
If Jesus could take the cigarettes out of my mouth after twenty-some years at about two packs a day, he can help this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
