My computer apparently has Hebrew fonts, because I can read Hebrew webpages, and I can copy and paste words into google, etc. in Hebrew. But I would like to be able to type in Hebrew. Is there a download (preferably free) somewhere?

You don't need a download, it's built into the Windows system. Go into your Control Panel - Language Settings, or search your Help files for "language" for detailed instructions. You might want to invest in a set of clear stick-ons for your keyboard to show which keys give the new characters - I bought my boss a set of Arabic ones on the 'net for $10 and had him up and running in about 20 minutes.

start typing here: http://www.tero.co.uk/magictyper/hebrew.php
גטטד לוצכ

Simply click your mouse in the box on the left and start typing

To use the words you have typed (in an email for instance), first highlight the text, then choose Copy from the Edit menu, switch to your email program, and choose Paste from it's Edit menu (help on copying and pasting).
