hiimben is a paranoid mummys boy. Yes ofcourse it's an advantage because more people from across the world can meet easier then ever before. I met the love of my life on the internet, after 4 years of chatting I flew over to meet her. We've been practicly soul mates ever since. But being as there are several thousand miles between us I would never have met her otherwise.

I have found that I can meet a lot of guys this way because I don't have the opportunity at my job or in my neighborhood. However, some of the guys want to meet right away which is a red flag. I have met a lot of nice guys and had some weird dates too. I think it just about like anything else because you never know anyone till you spend some time alone with them. The guy you meet at work might turn out to be a weirdo if you were alone with him

I live in a small town where all the good guys are already taken. I also work full time and go to school full time so I don't have time to hit the clubs or bars or whatever to look for guys. A good number of guys I've dated I first met on the internet. You just gotta play it smart and be sure the guy isn't a 50 year old pervert or anything.

like anything, it has a good side and a bad side. The good is that it brings people together based on interests and that sometimes you can say things on the internet that you might not say in person. In this way you can get a good idea of who a person really is. But of course, the bad about that is that you really never know who it is you're communicating with. It is always best to talk on the phone and meet in a public place if you are going to date someone until you know them.

It is a lazy way to find a date. The old fashion way is still the best way, but the internet is a good way to meet people.

I tried it and it didn't work for me... It was just not personal enough for me and when I would meet the guy, he would always be totally diffrent from how he was on the internet and over the phone... maybe for some it does work but not for me.

Yes it is because you tell people sokmehting and they belive you because they have no other choice and when you actually meet (If you do) it will be like you already know them. I wouldnt trust it though because there are a lot of people that want to hurt you and they go on those sites

In many ways it is... It forces you to be more open minded because you have never seen the person that you are talking to... And certain sterio types and personal thoughts of how a person will react doesn't apply... You can very easly like someone that you wouldn't even talk to under "normal" conditions... But because you have never seen them you will talk to them and get to know who they are before you know what they look like.
